I see what you are going for here...
May I suggest:
WAY less land, as pinkfloyd said.
No All is Dust. More Rampant Growth or Growth Spasm.
4x Summoning Trap
4x Lurking Predators
2 more Elvish Piper
4x Fog
No Pilgrims Eye
No Oracle

May 28, 2010Sanguine posted a message on DECK -Turbo EmeriaI would suggest attempting to find spots for the following:Posted in: darkspellcards Blog
Iona, Shield of Emeria
Linvala, Keeper of Silence
Gideon Jura
and possibly
Deathless Angel
If possible I would push Admonition Angel to 4x - she is a GREAT card if she sticks.
I think Emeria Angel is nice in this deck, but doesn't really help with the Control aspect
Overall I think it's a nice build with a lot of potential -

That's not a good reason. You always run the better card.
Excellent point that I overlooked. I think it might depend on what type of possible "recursion" spells/effects that might be yet to be spoiled. i.e. - does the exile effect make it better than GCharm? depends on the ability to get these things back from the GY. my ultimate feeling is that while maybe for THS GCharm might ultimately end up being better, this card wouldn't have been printed if there wasnt some way to get an artifact or enchantment back from your GY somewhere in this block, so it might get a spot over GCharm somewhere down the road when those spells come in (depending on what kind of threat they pose).
why 4x Quicken?
Pithing Needle, Vraska, Duress
it didnt need to be costed this high
I hadn't really been looking at Hundred Handed One. He's pretty good value for his CMC. I don't think anyone can say "don't use Omenspeaker, use Hundred instead". Hundred Handed doesn't step into the 2 cmc slot. The increase in PWs that we are inevitably going to see especially in the RG decks are going to mean maindecking more DSpheres for sure. I still haven't seen a list that has a "good" choice for a cmc2 slot for a U/W build... maybe one will be spoiled?
If you are going to run Esper, then yes you have Scry lands. If you are running a U/W build you have no scry lands. Omenspeaker might have more of a home in U/W but not so much in U/B or Esper?
edit - I'm interested in hearing which permanents folks think are likely going to be included for value that also contribute to getting a Devotion of 5. It adds another layer of needed analysis to the deck - picking permanents that have staying power and give you value as far as what they do and how their mana cost is composed.
This is brilliant. Must remember this. It's the little things like this in this game that make it so fun.
There is no Mutilate in Standard anymore when Theros comes in
