I'm more particular to SPAMstrike (this creature deals combat damage to creatures in the form of SPAM, to players in the form of SPAM, and to planeswalkers in the form of SPAM)
Probably not. That seems a little block-specific to actually become an evergreen keyword.
Now SPAMcycling, that I can vote for as an evergreen keyword in a hurry.
I guess you could play this on turn 5 via High Tide and still have enough mana for the Distortion Strike you'd need to actually do something with this and not die of embarrassment next turn to freaking Unsummon.
Coercion isn't really that much of a problem due to its cost, but for 1- and 2-cmc cards, letting you take away land can very easily cause a player to be manascrewed out of the game before they can even get started. That's pretty much the reason.
Fair enough. Even on cards like Night Terrors, though, which cost 3, I haven't seen one of these effects without "nonland" in it recently, unless I've missed one. Then again, I know Distress was printed recently, so there just may have not been many of these at CMC 3 anyway.
Extort isn't anything special, so it fits. And yes, Mourner's Grief could probably be beefed up a little. (On a side note, why is this effect always "nonland" nowadays? Did Coercion just break that many people's balls?) Released from Flesh is really good. Especially with Intangible Virtue out there; this card would just be a massive boost to a token deck. I don't really think it's too backbreaking, though, especially not just by itself.
Soulless Dominator is definitely the most interesting design out of these, and I agree that it should be a little smaller. It kinda looks like Circu, Dimir Lobotomist's ability on crack. It makes it impossible to cast via flashback. Overall, I like it, but yes, as it stands now, it might just be a little too durable.
Chaotic neutral, as I understand it, would embrace libertarian viewpoints. Thus: If you're an American, vote for Ron Paul, then become Ron Paul. But above all, remember that you're both chaotic -- i.e. not bounded by a hard and fast code of conduct, even if you're still technically orderly -- and neutral, i.e. not good or evil. Try to push the neutral part in your public image. Keep quiet around other people. Never let them know what your plans are. That said, never give in to paranoia. Just be careful.
In my case... I grew up around it. My dad was a serious Motörhead fan -- every album and even some bootlegs, that kinda fan. He had a huge collection of other metal and old rock, too. Dark Side of the Moon and Agents of Fortune were two of my first CDs, and my dad played Green Jelly's "Three Little Pigs" song for me a lot when I was little. I'm sure that if it weren't for that, I'd be into something way different.
However, I do listen to a vaguely wide array of music. Well, "not just metal and classic rock radio music," anyway, even though I listen to a lot of that. I think that, oddly, A Kiss in the Dreamhouse is one of the LPs I've listened to the most? That or one of the early Marillion LPs. I just kinda listen to whatever I think sounds interesting.
Wow... this is probably gonna be played in just about every deck that can use it. Catch can do some really useful things even past the Act of Treason effect.
The Maze creatures are gonna be usable in limited. Uncovered Clues... I've got a Niv-Mizzet EDH that would love it, but it's not too special otherwise. Firstblade, though... he's pretty sweet. Gonna be played in limited, may very well find a seat in standard, too.
Decent removal. The card art reminds me of those really creepy ads I used to see on some sites for whatever various miracle muscle-builders that involved (really blatantly shooped, I thought) pictures of men with inhumanly huge muscles to the point of sometimes making their torso look tiny and generally not looking like something that could possibly exist. I've been waiting for a parody of those! Other than the "Charles Atlas Advertisement" sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus, which predates those by about forty years.
It could be a lot better. Like, by being Grasp of Darkness or Last Gasp or otherwise not involving variable values, but as it stands, it's pretty good.
I like the basic idea, but I think that this could lead to some huge memory issues.
Time Rupture in particular, I feel, has the potential to be massive bull****, but that's true of any free mechanic, even if this isn't a "real" "free mechanic" in this case.
This talk of bombs is poorly timed given the explosions in Boston today. My thoughts go out to the victims.
I didn't know what time it had happened and was going to go off on a tear about how utterly insensitive it was after that, but it wasn't posted after the bombing. It's still decidedly not kosher regardless of when it was said and, frankly, should really probably be removed if only because of the timing.
I dunno, that seems kind of broken.

Since you're still a player, yes, you can be targeted with discard.

That's the strange part about the card -- that it shares a name with an existing card.

Jeezum Crow.
Nope.
Because moxen/Black Lotus/some other 0-cost stuff exists.
I seem to forget about those when making custom cards a lot of the time.
And those.

I suppose Watercourser, Metropolis Sprite, Thornling and Water Servant were also red cards? You do realize that it's possible for multiple colors to get the same mechanic, right?

True. I was pretty mad, though.
