Can I get some opinions on this card in 2018? I'm not sure if this card is needed anymore since we received Smuggler's Copter and Fleetwheel Cruiser. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of it because most of my aggro decks have some mana disruption element to them in Tangle wire, Winter Orb, Nethervoid, or 'Geddons, and they don't play well Cursed Scroll. However, one of my drafters did mention how he really liked it so I'm reconsidering if I should add this to my 450 cube. I'd like to give my aggro players another bone, but I don't know if this is good enough.
Ojutai looks sweet and has a lot of flavor. Unfortunately, Fractured Identity is already taking up the 5 mana Azorius card for me and I think I have like 4 other cards I'd rather run than the dragon. Also, Walking Ballista played out better than expected. I expected it to be clunky, but it was usually able to pick off a card before it met its end. It's hilarious with +1 counter generators.
Yeah, Fractured Identity is my number 1 Azorius Card. Are you guys just running Verdict to increase wipe density for UW Control decks? I suppose it's nice that Verdict will probably wheel in a pack for the control player. There's already 2 Wraths for them.
Thanks for the reply, wtwlf123. I suspected Mauler was on the bottom of that totem pole.
@Motz4: What wtwlf123 said. I think one of the most important things IMO is not to go to HAM with the multicolored cards, otherwise you will introduce more unplayables in a given draft. If you're really new, you might want to read the articles in wtwlf123's comments.

Pick one: Deep Analysis or Ancestral Vision Master of the Wild Hunt or Polukranos, World Eater or Surrak, the Hunt Caller - Man, I hate this slot in cube. It feels so weak.
GGs. Dude, your Treasure Cruises were so insane against me. All my disruption spells just kept feeding it. Must have felt good to Ancestral Recall. I actually ended up boarding out Jitte most games simply because I could never invest the mana. I was usually more concerned about disrupting and developing the board with creatures or Winter Orb/Geddon conditions made it difficult to play Jitte and maintain tempo. I think the turn that really hurt me was in G2, when you were able to burn the Braids on your upkeep and Balance afterwards. I had a Ravages of War in my hand, but decided to go with Braids because you had no creatures and only 4 lands. That balance rekted me so hard. I'M SUPPOSED TO BE THE LAND DESTRUCTION DECK.
I actually like Release the Gremlins more. You lose the Rev, Survival, Alesha, Blink interactions, but the ability to pop 2 artifacts midgame and create two 2/2's without any other help is just as strong. If the artifact and other mana rock decks are popular in your cube (and it looks like you have all the support for it), I'd lean towards Release the Gremlins.
I think Hazoret is superior to Hero. There's already some redundancy in Hellrider and aggro has plenty of 4 drops to choose from like Salmo mentioned. An active Hazoret can be incredibly hard to fight, and even if it is somehow stonewalled, the reach provided with its Shock ability can help push through the last few points--especially against troublesome cards like Moat.
Yeah, I'm going to keep running it for a bit longer because so many people have favorable opinions for the card. Speaking of Sram's Expertise and Spectral Procession, which token generator do you guys generally prefer of the two?
Edit: I'm trying to find the card that will best support control, reanimate, and artifact decks. I'm leaning on the Cryptologist.

I need to find a cut: Harsh Mentor, Smash to Smithereens, Shrine of the Burning Rage
