Well-run game businesses with smart owners who know what they're doing would barely bat an eyelash at legacy reprints. They make most of their money on much less risky things like sealed product, and they also diversify by selling multiple games at once - Often MTG, YGO, Pokemon, Video games, board games, miniatures tabletop games, RPG games, party games like cards against humanity, etc. In fact, they'd probably be really HAPPY about legacy reprints: it means more of that (nonrisky!) sealed product to sell, more people attracted to MTG, which means fuller tournaments with more entry fees paid, etc. etc.
I laughed at every post saying this counterfeit operation would destroy local businesses and game shops. People that make this claim clearly do not understand business and should stop pretending that they do .
I disagree with Wizard's decision to revisit the planes of Ravinca and Mirrodin and view it as a wasted opportunity, much rather have a Return to Zendikar or Return to Lowryn.
Two of the few sets in MTG that have amazing artwork and amazing mechanics.
The more I use Vorel the more I find him slow and clunky. Currently to me he is a "good on paper/theory but under-perform practically" commander. The only time I find him really useful is when he is out on turn 3 together with a Tanglewire. The rest of the time he is just some weak commander that my opponents don't even care about, they just kill off whatever permanent my Vorel targets with his ability in response.
Ghave and Marath are really good commanders for a +1/+1 counter theme.
Yeah Vorel is quite terrible in my books, better off playing goodstuffs than actually building around Vorel.
Is always a fun combo, that I can see doing well with the Owl general. Although, it doesn't win you the game if the opponent has things like the legendary Eldrazi in their decks, but could potentially force a significant portion of their library into the graveyard.
Sen Triplets is one of the weakest generals you can play for those colours, considering you have the almighty Zur and combo-master Sharuum
Pernicious Deed
Maelstrom Pulse and/or Abrupt Decay
I will flip.
ROFL at $500 foil proxies
Spam infraction -rax
I need to obtain a copy for my Animar deck.

Kresh the Bloodbraided is also very underrated as a +1/1 counter general as well.
