Interesting card with modal abilities. I think that guild might be too stacked to run this.
So because it is a gold card there is a chance you cannot get down until later turns which weakens the cost reduction potential. I like the counters as a bonus, but I think the card might not be good enough because green can already ramp you.
Assuming Atlazan is a water themed set, what would you hope / want to see thematically printed?
I would love some really gritty pirate characters, battleships, ghost ships, and those types of tropes. Black could have skeleton tribal.
There could be amazing lost islands with mystical creatures and plants, and amazing lost treasures.
Undersea merfolk would reign, but there could be new hybrid creature types that adapt to this plane.
What would you hope to see in Atlazan?
I see what you mean. In my opinion, most if not all planeswalkers in the cube have a playable +1 ability, so utilizing that to gain more loyalty is not necessarily a negative.
The vehicle is really hard to deal with conventionally because you have to use instant speed removal or artifact removal/permanent removal to get rid of it. Often you have to two for one yourself, which allows the planeswalker to remain alive and continue stabilizing.
Also, 2 cmc is a really good casting cost for control decks because it is much easier to cast while holding counter mana up (force spike, remand).
I think you guys might come around to this card after giving it some testing and seeing where it settles. In my limited playing experience where it came down early and the opponent had a planeswalker out it was really tough to beat.
Heart of Kiran 2
Legendary Artifact - Vehicle Mythic
Flying, Vigilance
Crew 3
You may remove a loyalty counter from a planeswalker you control rather than pay ~'s crew cost.
4/4
This thing is a planeswaler killer!! 2CMC flying/vigilance 4/4??
I absolutely love this card for so many reasons. Good in control, good in midrange, not terrible in agro.
I this will be a chase mythic, and I am glad they are continuing to push vehicles.
I like how it allows you to play a card with converted mana 3 or less. It is much easier to have that card available when you cast this. Much better that strictly 3 cmc.
Idk maybe in the future after more 3cmc artifacts are released, but I don't know if this is worth tapping out for on turn three. I'd rather have a standard tutor than such conditional tutoring.
Favorite full art is probably Elite Inquisitor . Awesome pose.

Favorite gory flick would probably be From Dusk Till Dawn.
Crew 2 4/4 is that more playable?
What about Crew 3 5/5?
