@ demonium71: you do that Rasputin for someone else? it's beautiful. all your work has something i miss from early magic : unique artistic perspective. the different styles of early artists was something that drew me into the game. the newer, more digital art stuff looks great but now MtG has a more unified art direction imo.
I really do enjoy looking at your alters and hope you find a more satisfying way to make use of your talents/time.
i want three sweepers wraith of god, damnation and nevinyrral's disk. is this too much?
i read the article and get the 8:3 ratio. do you find 1/2cc creatures with tricks (to support other arctypes) good enough to fill a role as aggro? see deathrite shaman (maybe), lotloth troll (probably), goblin welder (probably not).
How could it possibly make the color pair worse, when you are just utilizing the strength of both colors: Blue strongly benefits from having extra mana available and the efficient creatures make up for the bad early game of most blue decks. Blue on the other hand gives you card (quality) advantage as well as interacting with your opponent through bounce, creature control and counter magic, which green is otherwise incapable of.
i just don't want to force blue and green to play together but yeah, playing to needs/strengths doesn't seem to do that. i am not sure i understand the difference between top 360 and 90% list. thank you for those lists though as i am already using them as a reference.
MM brought me to cube forum too. i'd like to hear experienced cubers view on 360 staples for a powered cube -p9.
last night i had a thought about using simic cards to support green ramp with CA and counter backup. this morning i thought that probably makes simic WORSE (having a hard time with simic cards) 'cause it won't get drafted for anything but. thoughts?
Wow, holy crap, I hadn't actually thought of using Isperia. Seems real good. Not as good as Consecrated Sphinx, but at least she gives you a chance to draw a Fog once attackers are declared. Crazy.
drogskol reaver i like more. big butt, life gain=draw cards.
Psychic Spiral anyone? May not be a traditional mill card but definitely works as a finisher in any sort of permission control deck.
went 3-2-1 in a PTQ with a psycic spiral deck. lost to top 8, lost to strangleroot and draw against top 8. deck rocks against control. just run R/U draw and white for sphinx revelation. SB is a man plan if they remove creature hate. maindeck 4 snapcasters and 4 clones. using cyclonic rift and devestation tide to hold off things only works when they don't flash or haste. the detain sorcery for 2cc and draw is an option, but i went with stuff to get through waves of hexproof saints.
more excited about sphere of safety then detention sphere. lowering the cost to buy the deck should lead to more players trying stax should lead to more innovation. rest in peace also nice.
This is exactly what I'm talking about. It's not malicious, it's not intentional; it does subtly imply that only maleness really matters. (please understand that I don't mean to say that in an accusatory way, only for demonstration)
And a psych major, actually.
consider that most Latin languages sex their nouns. that said, FNM is not a shining example of gender equality.
Sorry, Ray of Revelation is in the format. No go, guys. Try again next year.
is this a serious reply? blue has a problem stopping Ray of Revelation? also, what would be the best target for that spell? Lost in the Mist can protect Sphere although i'm not entirely sold on sphere.
Smooth Criminal keep selling me on Sphere. i really do like the idea.

Thragtusk works, Krenko, Mob Boss and Illusionist's Bracers

Ghost Quarter is going to wreck mana bases. Also works with Deathrite Shaman. Cyclonic Rift is a problem. Nevermore in the side maybe.

angelus is Male for example

WGB detain enchant, Oblivion Enchant. Mana Enchant, Fog Effects. Graft cage in the main for the Zombie/Snap meta.
cyclonic rift and unsummon... feeling of dread
i think you finish with lifelinking draw spirit or mill on lands enchant.
alternatively, use your win con as GY card advantage and play snapcaster mage as an enabler. if you can stall long enough that is preferable to cage.
