    We run a cube league where each player pays $10.00 per 12 week season. We track points for wins and completing certain achievements. Our group all agrees on a card that we purchase and award to the winner at the end of the season. Everyone would happily play for free with no prize support, the league just heightens the competition which for us makes it a little more fun.

    I did a search and couldn't find a thread on this card so I figured I would start one. Came across this long forgotten relic the other day and started thinking about what a beating this card could be for most aggro and midrange decks. Am I missing something and this card is just bad? For 1 mana it seems to me like it could be great for control combined with any type of vigilant creature or manland. If nothing else it shoud be able to buy some much needed time to stablilize. Also I know this card has been changed to creatures with power 3 or more but we would play the card as printed.

    Ability triggers each combat. Give vigilance on your turn and first strike or lifelink on theirs. Can really mess up their combat. I think this will be very good.
