Kavu Predator + Invigorate would be good.
Also run more creatures with troll shroud like sihana ledgewalker and/or slippery bogle.
My build looks more like this:
    Land
    16 Forest
    Creatures
    4 Kavu Predator
    4 Sihana Ledgewalker
    4 Slippery Bogle
    4 Nettle Sentinel
    4 Skarrgan Pit-Skulk
    Spells
    4 Rancor
    4 Invigorate
    4 Might of Old Krosa
    4 Vines of Vastwood
    3 Seal of Strength
    3 Bounty of the Hunt
    2 Sylvan Library
I can't afford Berserk at the moment but I've I'd good results so far.
Anyone know of a poor man's version of Berserk? If their is one...

Would it be good to MD Boartusk Liege instead of Goblin Chieftain? I was thinking +2 Boartusk Liege

What's everyone's thoughts on this Mono-Red build from SCG 5k.

We just had one yesterday at Melrose Music and Comics on Melrose at Melrose and Poinsettia (a couple blocks west of La Brea). It was crazy successful, and so the guy who runs it wants to do another legacy tournament next week too!

I think sign-up started at 8pm, but I didn't get there til 8:30ish. Tourney was at 9. Chances are it'll be the same next week too.

Awesome thanks! Is the address 7301 Melrose Ave Los Angeles, CA 90046?
Anyone else got a spot in or around Los Angeles?

Warren Instigator's a decent card. He makes them play around him (defensively) which helps a good Goblins list get to the lategame when it counts. However, he demands a certain number of red sources to be effective, which can be problematic when you have 4 Waste along with 4 Port.

Kiki's trash in a competitive environment.

Siege-Gang should always replace the Kiki slots.

Stingscourger is a strong card no matter what, but I don't think it's a 4-of card. It doesn't always produce CA, but having multiples is nice. 3 is a good number.

I don't know if anyone's asked this before, but why isn't Kiki good competitively?

I would really suggest trying to find room for Mogg War Marshal.

Having War Marshals makes Zoo's clock much more manageable by having three bodies to block with for the price of one, it makes Incinerators much better, makes Piledrivers deadlier, makes excellent use out of any lord effect (haste, costing one mana, or the +1/+1) and is really just a great goblin.

I don't think you really need that many Chieftains, as the deck is more than okay at getting lethal without the pump. I generally use him as a Matron target for those living the dream situations with Siege-Gang Commander and War Marshals as well as against cards like Engineered Plague. I wouldn't mind having more Chieftains in the deck, but I cut him down to the tutor target because too many of him cuts out space for other great goblins.

The only other option I really see to cut if you want to make room for different Goblins is Stingscourger, Sharpshooter or Siege-Gang Commander. I guess the Sharpshooter is a meta call as to whether or not it's worth the slot. You could cut a Stingscourger but I personally like having three copies of it as well. It's a card that I like drawing enough that I don't have to use my Matron to grab it, and I also like to have as early as turn 2 to get my Lackey through without problems. The Commanders are again a tough call to say what the right number is. I switch between two and three a lot when I mess with my Goblin list. It takes a long time for a Vial to get to five counters, and with Wastelands (your opponent's and yours) can make five lands tough to get on a regular basis (even four if you have a Warchief can still be a stretch some games), and you can't always guarantee a Lackey will get him in. But he's just such a powerful card with the instant huge board position and the reach his burn also gives.

Personally, I found MWM to be a bad choice for me in testing against Zoo it bought some turns but was really just stalling the win in there favor. The 3rd SGC really makes up for that. It brings in 3 gobs plus I can shock for two and anyways my game 1 against them is usually a struggle right off the bat but once I board in 4 pyros for G2 it's a fairly easier match up. I do agree with you on the chieftain taking up slots but I feel it's better to MD them and have space in the SB for better options for whatever ales me.
    Anymore feedback would be great!

Something I've been gearing up for. Any tips or comments are more then welcomed. Thanks Grin
    Lands
    4 Wasteland
    4 Rishadan Port
    14 Mountain

    Gobbos
    4 Goblin Lackey
    4 Goblin Warchief
    4 Goblin Matron
    4 Goblin Ringleader
    4 Gempalm Incinerator
    4 Goblin Piledriver
    3 Siege-Gang Commander
    3 Stingscourger
    3 Goblin Chieftain
    1 Goblin Sharpshooter

    4 Aether Vial

I'm considering 2 Warren Instigator but unsure on what to drop. I feel the deck is fairly solid on it's own, but I don't think the Instigators would hurt much. Just fix the mana for them. Any thoughts?
Unclear on SB as of now. Looking to run something for a general meta.
    Anyways thanks on any tips.

EDIT: Figured out a decent SB (IMO)
    4 pyrokinesis
    4 Thorn of Amethyst
    3 Tormod's Crypt
    2 Pithing Needle
    1 Vexing Shusher
    1 Goblin Tinkerer
    Comments/tips/suggestions please!

I'm having trouble with Show and Tell decks. What's the best thing to do against them? I'm running Mono Red btw.

I don't think I have the room to fit Mindbreak in my SB.
Here's what my SB looks like:
    4 Thorn of Amethyst
    3 Pyrokinesis
    3 Tormod's Crypt
    2 Anarchy
    1 Relic of Progenitus
    1 Goblin King
    1 Free slot
In the free slot I usually run between Goblin Tinkerer or Goblin Chieftain (For E-Plague) but I'm finding Boartusk Liege to be a better choice against E-plague. Still testing my SB trying to make it as solid as possible with a mono-red build.

Also, what are your thoughts on running Volrath's Stronghold in b/r Goblins?

@this_is_my_username: Do you run both ToA and Mindbreak? May I see what kind of SB you bring to the table?

Been torn between running ToA or Mindbreak Trap.
I've tested both and so far I have to say ToA has really shined for me.

Where else can Thorn of Amethyst be viable against?

Would you say Earwig is more of a SB card or can it do well MD? I think it can do well against a lot of other decks.

I noticed you aren't running Stings. They really do help as aaronc123 mentioned.
I'd also make room for a 4th Warchief. Although, I've seen some builds run 2-3 I feel you lose the tempo that it needs and really Warchief is part of the core build and not running four just leaves a funny taste in my mouth.

I'm thinking about running 3-4 Lighting Bolt or even Tarfire MD for extra removal/reach. What are anyone's thoughts on this?

@jamis: Chalice and Thorns sound like the best bet but would it be to much to run both in SB, 4 ToA 2-3 CotV, or is it best to just stick with one or the other??

thanks guys i think blood Moon will do the trick perfectly since all he plays is non basics... Maybe 3 Islands and 2 plains....

I'm also going to use ringleader as an advantage late game.

you guys have been tons of help. if you can think of any more strategies or cards that can help just tell me. Thanks again!

Just out of curiosity you mind posting up your current Gobbo list?
