"...In a matter of speaking."
I give it a 5. It's neat, but it's just too complicated for me.

3/3
"And that's why... Because... And then...Simply...Obviously."
Thanks for the feedback, guys.
I was a little wary of giving him bounce stuff for his negative, sense it would essentially make him a re-hash of Jace, the Mind Sculptor without the lame +1 ability, but I see your point. Bouncing is what Venser does, lol.
And as for the ultimate, I thought of a couple other things, but nothing seemed right for Venser. I mean, he's supposed to be about time travel and planeswalking and what not, but giving him the 'take an extra turn' just didn't seem like enough. Besides, in a deck that has Time Stop or whatever, you could just re-play the Time Stop from your graveyard by discarding a Boomerang, lol.
SO:
Venser Planeswalker 3UU
Planeswalker - Venser {[3]}
+1: Discard any number of cards. Draw that many cards.
-2: Put two target nonland permanents on top of their owners' libraries.
-6: Discard any number of cards. For each card discarded in this way, you may cast a blue instant or sorcery card in your graveyard without paying its mana cost.
Soo, after seeing the post for the new DoTP expansion, I saw that for some reason Rhys is getting his own deck now. I thought to myself, 'Why is Rhys getting a deck? He's not even a planeswalker,'. But, I realized that Rhys is probably getting a deck because there just aren't any other planeswalkers right now who have been made in to cards, and decided to imagine what a couple of the planeswalkers left in the multiverse would look like if they were made in to cards.
So, a tribute to my personal favorite Planeswalker (As I posted on the Wizards site)
Venser, Planeswalker
Casting cost: (3)(blue)(blue)
Loyatly counters: 3
+1: Discard X cards, then draw X cards.
-2: Discard a blue instant or sorcery. You may play a blue instant or sorcery from your graveyard without paying it's casting cost.
-6: Discard X blue instants or sorceries. You may play X blue instants or sorceries from your library without paying their casting cost.
I figured that as an artificer, Venser would be all about recycling things he didn't need into things he did need. In keeping with the gloriously awesome color that is Blue, Venser has draw and discard, which while similar to Jace actually helps feed his later abilities. The psuedo-replicate/flashback seems like it would be a great ability to me, and I think his ultimate I gave him here would just be awesome. Wizards, please make this card! I'll pay YOU to use my idea!
