I have visited in Osaka many years ago
It is very expense compared to online store because all cards are needed to pay Consumption Tax 8%->10% in future. It cannot return back because it is small card shop.
Everyone is not good in foreign language. In Japan, they will talk to you in Japanese.
    Bargaining of price is prohibited

    1. Choose 2 or 3 colors you want.
    2. Go to EDH sub-forum and choose which combo you want. If you don't like the most popular of the format-edh, please skip my post.
    The website is

Just going to point out the obvious, not a single person on earth needs 4x any card to play standard.

If you play standard, Voice of Resurgence makes you headache. Price & Supply. It really needs 4.

This is a standard forum to talk this card

  • posted a message on What is the matter with the Mythic rarity?
Mythic rarity, all it does is drive up the prices of cards/increases the need for more packs to be busted open, which is really what WotC wants.
As far as using limited as a reason for mythics, that's just bs. Rarely does a card in limited = I most likely win type bomb. The only ones in recent memory are Jitte and Pack Rat. Although the Swords come close.

I go to EDH and don't play standard anymore. It needs much more money to play standard than past. Also, Number of viewers in EDH forum is same as Standard one. Faster to take an EDH deck, much more money saved.

  • posted a message on Should i buy a booster box or just go to a few drafts for M14
    Quote from Valarin
Buying a box is always a bad idea, but even more so with core sets. You are paying full price for things that only have 1 year in Standard vs the 2 of other expansions. Core sets are just a raw deal for players, they really should just get rid of them entirely. I've never bought the "easier core sets being in more people to the game" argument.

Think of the people who paid $40+ for Thundermaw's and only got a year out of them before they tanked.

yes, buying box is a bad idea. buy Tarmogoyf , this is never a wrong decision for your first anniversary of playing magic. If you buy a box and then it sucks, this is not a good memory for this

  • posted a message on Why will Modern Masters increase demand for Modern?
If a store only has 18boxes, store will use for draft with high enterence fee only just opened by himself. The new art tarmogoyf will be very high price. $250. It should buy goofy now because the market is only have 200pieces in tcg&ebay.

Uncompleted auctions are a bad way to make a point. I can start an eBay auction at whatever price I want but it doesn't mean I am going to get it. Here are some completed auctions for foil foreign Snapcasters:

    Chinese $82

    Japanese $163

    Korean $310

    Russian $454

For the "Chinese" one, This is simplified chinese in China , not traditional chinese in Hong Kong nor Taiwan

    non-foil traditional chinese like that

Jitte is amazing. If you own it, run it. Easily the strongest equip ever printed.

i think Jitte is very powerful and has many combo so that it has be banned in Modern but I put Jitte and SoFoF in deck Grin

welcome to Hong Kong, my home city. US MTG players are always very nice.
    Background
    1 booster price: HK$28
    2 booster box: HK$900 (US$115). it's not cheap.
3 You can go to play pre-release event. Hong Kong players can understand simple English. Language is not a barrier but you are expected to play with traditional chinese version
4 Actually, price of P3k traditional chinese is less than english one. Someone says demand of english is higher than traditional chinese
5 You can easily to buy traditional chinese non-foil single but you never find a useful chinese foil single card HK players chase Trad-Chinese foil cards too much.
6 If you want to buy Modern/Old/Foil cards, you are better to go Tokyo because HK players are only 300. I also go to Japan to collect english card. haha
7 Traditional chinese price is less than english card. Many people disappointed MTG stopped to print Trad Chinese in past few years. Some players change to English version. Now Trad Chinese are sponsored by MTG and price of booster is cheaper than English.
8 I think main differiculty is how to find Hong Kong stores because 3 mainly stores are located in commerical/industry building.

  • posted a message on When will be the time to by 'Goyfs?
    Quote from sH0opdAwoOp
Huh. I was hoping MM 'Goyfs might go for ~$80 or so at some point. I won't be ordering any sealed MM product. My plan would just be to pick up a playset of 'Goyfs off an eBay BIN.

EDIT: I totes missed any window on getting Future Sight 'Goyfs for anything less than premium price, given that I only ever started playing anything but EDH within the past few weeks :p

...If other MM cards are suck...,
"a playset of 'Goyfs off an eBay" this is a very difficult tasks. You and other players will bid together and take this items. Also, buying MM boosters only have 1 reason - take Goyf out.

Like JMTS, if we neeeds buy 2.33 boxes to get a gofy, what is the cost?
