    Not understanding your point. So what about the bridge combo? Hasn't really done much, besides hogaak and this deck doesn't run any bridge combo in it anyways.
    To know if a deck is dead it takes work. First replace looting with what you feel is the best replacement. Then play some games against stoneforge decks, UW control, burn, tron, jund, and possibly counters company. If you can do okay against them then the deck isn't dead. Just saying it is because a certain card got banned is foolish. The only decks that died from the bannings were actually bridge decks and hogaak decks. Because the namesake card got ripped out. Banning an engine card is like banning Summer Bloom from Amulet Titan.... is that deck dead?

    How did drakes do so well? Seems like being the only target for removal would make it even more of a lightning rod than it already is. That and when it's at it's best that means you are likely combing off already. Just make it less likely to fizzle and should have better results. I'm just confused on how you achieved results with that card. Thanks.
    Edit: Looka like you were saying they took out all removal and played graveyard hate. Free wins basically?

    The whole site is quite dead. Sucks. This was a thriving community with lots of advise and suggestions. Good luck with the deck, but I still think maybe not separating a thread in to two parts when the first is struggling for breath is a better idea. Doesn't matter which survives. Btw a deck list here or there could be great.

    Are these 5-0 lists all being done by the same player? Kinda like fitz with reclamation? Or is it starting to take off online? I did watch a video a few days back where the YouTuber played against this. I believe the YouTuber won 2-1 though. Was explosive 1 game, just didn't do anything of importance 1 game, and last game was going off but either fizzled or a key card was removed in some way. Sorry i don't remember the situation exactly. Lol

    But Master Tinkerer is great in this deck. I like the fun style you have going here. Looks like a cool kitchen table deck.
    I'd definitely run Dispatch in here. If you don't have 3 artifacts out then you pretty much just got wrathed or chomping. Games pretty much over as you dont have many cards that'll get you back in the game.

    3 Oblivion Ring would be a nice split. Also that helps against meddling mage effects.

    I'd suggest dropping either Bob or moon and putting in a few copies of Battle at the Bridge. Then make room for the devotion land. Those 2 will buy you lots and lots of time. Plus the extra removal will do wonders.
    You can use consume spirit in place of Battle if you like as it doubles as a win con. Firing it off from a stalled board state for like 14 is great.

    Why are you using the bad guildmages and not playing the simply best one? The origional rav guildmage can steal games all by itself. 4 mana make a dude. 4 mana pump your whole team.

    It's performing okay. Not great and never was too broken for modern. I've seen games where it saves the day by getting batterskull in time. Then again I've seen games where they just K command it into oblivion. Funniest fail was last night. I was watching a youtuber that the opponent played STM and passed. Next turn they tried to end step the batterskull and got cliqued in response. Was really funny.
    Not to mention the bant soulherder deck that is making rounds right now prays on SFM decks something hard.

    Yes I have. This was probably my best deck while it was in standard, and didn't resemble that list at all. Ran more fog effects like dawn charm. Also had remand and effective counters to make the few spells they can cast useless. The flash you have protection tiger was also a big part of making it work at that time. This basically turned off attacks, burn spells, etc.
    @Speedy. The format being 5 or 6 turns isn't true any longer. Big decks I see right now that extend the clock are UW control, SoulHerder, etc. Some fast decks still exist no doubt, but the basic build concept is UW control with this as a 1 or 2 of to close out the game once you have it locked up.

    Sorry for those less than satisfying results. I completely understand what you are saying about reaching the combo. My variant lacks visions and slight. I'm sure the correct build will be found, but I also see you started to combo but the fizzle was real. That is where my version shines. Drawing the extra cards per shadow drawn makes it less likely to fizzle. I'm in the process of collecting the deck now, will be slow, but hoping just cutting a few cards here and there will lead to the best build.
    I do agree that a few more lands are needed. I think probably 22 will be a good number to start with. Only need 2 nonfield lands, so 18 with a few cantrips should be close to right. My build I'm trying to reduce the number by doing a visions'esk effect with depts and fetches.
    I do also state that you dont need to go for it until you have to. Generally that means before narset can be played against aggro decks and by turn 3 against burn and heavy aggro. Also sometimes the super aggro decks just draw dont draw gas. Too many lands. Not enough. Too many 2 drops etc.

    This was a card I loved playing while it was in standard. Great wincon in a good control shell. Opponents can usually play 3 or maybe 4 cards by the time you land it and then they lose.
    What do y'all think about a creatureless deck that plays this in game 1 then switches to a really hard to answer creature game 2? Maybe, since the format has slown down some, Aetherling could be the choice. Or something else if you can think of something equally unkillable and has the same inevitability.
