Once again, it doesn't do any good to get your deck in until you have LOCKEDit in..as in no more changes. If you are still testing then just say your code is to be named later.
This helps out Lantern immensely and as this tournament gets larger anything we can do as a group to avoid unnecessary confusion would seem optimal.
Listen to this guy..he knows what he is doing. Interesting deck and concept B..I have toyed around with something like this but of course not to this level.
Just goes to show that modern is really still in its infancy and we need more deck innovators.
I'll just say that you are misrepresenting fury of the hoards. It is used to actually FINISH the game....in builds that are complete gas cannon it is used properly. Yours plays differently.
seriously??? people are whining about Bolt needing to be banned?? This is modern..an eternal format. Powerful cards and interactions will and should exist.
Every single deck is going to have bad matchups, you are going to have to accept that or your never going to find a deck worth playing. If your deck has issues with multiple tier 1 strategies, then you have a problem, and your deck isnt going anywhere. Luckily for you, tron isnt tier 1 right now. Take a look at Badd B's UWR control list he played in Lantern's tournament last month. He realized that he had little chance against tron, accepted it, and crushed everything else in his way.
I have thrown around alot of rock based decks using smallpox. I found what I lacked most was a way to finish people off. I can slow them down but I felt I was losing 2 many games that I should not be.
So I have a Cloud/Pox shell that I have been working on.
I don't really want to ramp into a turn 3/4 Garruk/Cloud. EE and Pox allow me that flexibility.
Thoughtseize has been the nuts. Yes, it is TERRIBLE against burn, 1 drop zoo, affinity if not played turn 1 etc....but the decks it shines against to me makes it worth alot more than inquisition. Also, a turn 1 discard spell is not completely neccessary. Pox and Cloud want our opponents to have things on the board that we can wipe away...Cards like Cryptic command and birthing pod are cards I would rather not see against me.
I think my average card cost is something like 2.4. trinisphere is a card that has just won me games. I don't think I will leave my s/b without it.
Also, Jaya is pretty damn easy to remove. I mean, pyroclasm effects, bolt any and all black removal.
So you either need to make sure she is safe to drop;
ie discard effects -raven's crime
or have some way to otherwise protect her.
counterspells, protective auras etc.
Depends what you're going up against and how competitive you want to be.
Hyperbole at its finest.

ahhhh holiday!! 'Nough said bro. Just making sure he was ok. I mean there are only a few reason to miss a top 4 match amirite???
Vacation is definitely on that list.
Just my 2 cents.
Because he didn't show up to his top 4 match-up yesterday.
PS: has anyone spoken with dodito??

1. You need a form of heavy CA in order to keep an engine going with Jaya.

GL!
He most definitely deserves a ban.
