Snapcaster is a hell of a lot more playable than Jace, imo, and I see people more willing to hold onto their Jaces than their snapcasters. I think keep the snapcaster because even if it gets reprinted in a few years, it's gonna go up in price a lot as the years roll on
The sad truth is that the price of staples are going to rise after MM. MM is going to increase demand and player base of modern more than it's going to increase the supply of the cards modern players want
I wish planeswalker art was a bit more creative and risk taking with the art. Why can't we get a chandra card with her blasting through a wall of ice or something better than that
Of course rarity has everything to do with it.
This is not power creep at all, just a card that hoses blue. (Scryb Ranger also has a million abilities and hoses blue...)
Tarmogoyf???
Scryb Ranger was in a block that was off the charts in terms of complexity. I could understand printing Ranger at uncommon given that there were so many other complicated cards that seem to warrant a higher rarity just because they are harder to understand and evaluate.
The 2/2 reach spider is definitely correct at rare. You don't want to put such a good bear creature at uncommon in a set like Dragon's Maze
And this is clear case of power creep (for spiders lul)
You should take your own advice
Should have been a land
You're comparing a card that has been played and proven to be viable in a huge pool of decks and players to a card that has been tried and failed
They can pretty much look like anything with a little bit of time
Prepare for the ultimate screw job magic players
