Have you considered adding Quietus Spike? Maybe not 4 but up to 2?
Quietus Spike + Tainted Sigil + Sanguine Bond = win right? Of course, you need a creature to hit with. Preferably something with evasion.
If I'm correct, it'll work against those life gaining decks as well and even if the opponent was at 'infinite' life. Deathtouch conferred by the spike helps to clear any blockers.
Quietus Spike isn't going to rotate out next, I think.
My intention was to use Lightning Storm with Uyo, Silent Prophet. Bounce lands and make multiple duplicates of Lightning Storm. Then discard the (bounced) lands to make selected storms even bigger. With an extra mana source or two, the 6 land used to cast Uyo could help do up to 24 damage coming from 4 sources. Uyo can even fly in for the final swipe if necessary.
Of course, I hoped that the new copies would retain the counters. However, I didn't think for a moment that discarding the land made copies of Lightning Storm. Sorry for the confusion.
I have a question regarding spell copying. Sorry if this topic has been covered before. Would appreciate any advice from the experts here.
Say Lightning Storm is being played. A land card was discarded (therefore has 2 counters). Now Lightning Storm is copied. Does the copy get the counters?
Remember the poll they did on the website? "How confident are you in the colors of the guilds in Guildpact?" I was wondering if that was a subtle quiz to "Are you reading the spoilers?" The results sure as hell seemed to suggest we are!
We can answer that we're very confident without implying anything because by then, Wizards.com had shown the pictures of the 3 precon decks being released in GP.
I was really looking forward to the possibility of Jitte being banned. Regardless of whether or not it needs to be. Imo, they should ban any card that sells for over £10.
The result of the above would be that all cards in Magic will eventually get banned. After you ban the current top cards, a new group will rise to take their place as the best cards in the new environment. At some point in time, their price will rise above £10 and they'd get banned too... wash, rinse and repeat cycle.
Remember what happened when Arcbound Ravager was banned? Many cards, including Umezawa's Jitte, increased in price to their current levels today because they were now the top cards in post-ravager standard. (Side note: fortunately for moir, I got my Jittes on eBay at 5 for US$12 ).

Thanks for your answers to my query.

Guess they'd like the freedom to be able to sell cards with the same hype even if they made a sucky expansion. Such leaks keep the pressure on them.
Could this be art for a future set?
When I knew about Fish the first time, it was written as F.I.S.H.
After looking at the decklist, I wonder if F.I. is Fire/Ice and S.H. stands for Spiketail Hatchling. Some would say its because of the merfolk though.
