I may not have been the most active or visible member on this site, but I made so many friends with people and bonded over a very many things. Not just Magic, but art. I am incredibly saddened by the fact that I wasn't able to participate in the last Christmas Card Exchange. :'( First time in roughly 8 years. I'm going to miss coming to this site just to read about Magic.
Thank you all, from the beginning of the exodus, all the way until now.
I look forward to whatever comes next.

I just saw this article pop up and missed the one for Prophecy, which I promptly went back and read. It's really awesome to see someone taking the time to do this for some of the much-maligned sets that have contributed to building this great game. Wizards has always made the game fun and fantastic, even if the cards aren't always super powerful.
Have to honest, I rarely read articles on this site anymore. It's good to see something unique come along. Give me more!
As for cards from Saviors that I love, there's two that are pretty well EDH staples for me. First, if I'm running blue, Eternal Dominion is in there. I like pairing it up with Uyo, Silent Prophet. Casting 3+ copies of Eternal Dominion on every upkeep to raid your opponent's decks is fun, but not a good way to make friends. Second, there's Choice of Damnations. It's one of the meanest cards to play. You almost always come out on top, no matter what they make. At the pre-release, many people often did not read the card closely, choosing one as the number. I can assure you, they didn't lose one life, but I got some very angry concessions after a judge clarified the card. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
@Clan Contests: Well.....we do go overboard with the crafting. We're all incredibly talented at a variety of pieces.
@Lazersharp: Chomp! seems very interesting. I'm always interested in game theory, but I'm not as good with the mathematical interpretations of it. I haven't had a math course since Calculus......lord knows how many years ago. However, I am always curious about the psychological game theory that goes behind the math. As for sporcle quizzes...I don't really care for the format presented on the website. I tried a few of them and was mostly frustrated by the user interface. Very annoying. However, I try and listen to the music when you post it.
@Kank: Yeah, yeah, I need to change my avatar. When I have some free time, maybe. I've got other stuff to do. Like post here.
@Wheatabix: Glad you survived your college semester. Kick ass at the internship! Wish I could go to Germany.
@Yoma: Good luck with Uni exams!
@Lasersharp: I like the new avatar, actually. It's very pleasing. It's simple and honest. Good luck on the courses.
@Abbey: Yay! Kidling. I honestly hate kids, so...enjoy? I wouldn't.
@Fakespeare: Yo. Stay active.
@Petsnake.....Snake!....SNAAAAAAAAAKE!: Whoa...Metal Gear Solid Flashback.
@De-friend: Hmmmm.....I can think of two things:
Obama is God!
Obama is Satan!
Take your pick.....most everyone I know will get up in arms about this....wait...Canadian.....
Starbucks is better than Tim Horton's!
Would that make you angry enough to de-friend me?
@PG: I wouldn't EVER insinuate sleeping with my mom. You'd just end up catching something......foreign.
Ethnicity: Half German (Second generation, my grandparents on my mother's side both immigrated from Nuerenburg), the other half is of unknown origin. My father was adopted and has never pursued his birth identity.
Yes, this does affect my life. I speak German and purposely keep my roots for myself and my children. I have spent two summers traveling in Schwabia and Bavaria. I indulge in the culture on a regular basis. I cook cultural dishes and seek it out. I celebrate certain Holiday traditions. It is a part of who I am.

Edit:
As for music, I used to work as a mobile disc jockey for weddings and other events. I have probably listened to musical genres most hipsters haven't heard of. I can't really stand Enka or Folk, though.
Or.....
In 2014, [The Crafters] Will Dominate Clan of the Year Again!
Or.....
Something else. Let me think about it some more.
And Happy New Year!
Edit: My wife did the Curse of the Swine.
I'll post them up a little later, so other might share in the pain.
I'm glad my alters were received well. I thought the flip token was sufficiently epic. And yes, we do have shiny bits in there.
As for the walker....I could care less about the abilities. What gorgeous artwork! Scott Fischer did some DAMN excellent work on it. Much love for it. However, I do have to say: I've seen enough anime to know where this is headed.........
@Kank: No can do on the review. I'm about to skip out for a few days of well-earned R and R with my family to travel to my brother's.
@All: Did anyone here participate in the MTGS Xmas card exchange?
@Yomako: Nice to meet you!
@Lazer: I'm hoping to stay here for a while this time. *Crosses Fingers.* Also, I agree with PG's assessment. Aurora was known for jumping, LZ is known for music and sporcle quizzes.
Really, it was crazy work. I went from almost having no work at all to becoming part of a 3-person management team in charge of day-to-day operations.
Yay! Go Clan! Rock the submissions.
Hi Abby! Long live the Dragons!
Hi Grey! Keeping it neither black nor white?
Hi Yomako! Were you a clan member when I left?
Frozen was good. Tangled was better.
The other game company I've found making great children's games is Blue Orange Games. They do some fantastic work as well. They're designed for some younger play in mind, but, again, they're easy to learn and great for the age group. Our son quite loves Pengaloo. It's a memory-style game, which isn't necessarily challenging for adults, but he gets a kick out of it.
Check 'em out for games that are age-appropriate, fun, and non-traditional.
Looking at this, it's actually pretty darn accurate for me. I'm a big fan of Liberal Socialism and prefer companies with a conscience, even if the government needs to adjust it that way. Free market is good, but frankly, not at the cost of humanity.
