I didn't mean to the pronouns was a cause, more a symptom. And appealing to different demographics, I think wizards tries very hard to get girls to play. It seems like anytime the slightest bit of "Girl Power" is on the scene it is always spotlighted by them, be it Mana girls or the other group's that name escapes my memory. While I think they are doing a really good job promoting the game to girls, I think that guys who openly laugh at that are doing the opposite. -

Heres my deal with that card. I hope its something amazing, but not a new merfolk lord. I like sovereign. I don't like it as much as lord of atlantis... but She's saved me more times then I can count (Playing a half counter half aggressive merfolk deck that has actually been working for me.) I'd love to see her reprinted since I wont get lord of Atlantis, but my merfolk deck is short of one more key card that could really make it awesome. I'm hoping this card is that key card.
Now I set my self up to be extra mad when it is a pearl trident... but meh. At least I'll have cool merfolk art sleeves, with out using the card.
I can say the Overwhelming Stampede and angel intrigues me the most. The thought of green black intrigues me and makes my old magic player scream out for poison... but its vampires. Not that I hate them... I don't mind them.... But I always preferred werewolves...
My friend made a interesting observation. Basically she said "What if they were planes walkers. Which I geeked about since it would be cool to finally get a merfolk planeswalker. But then the idea seemed more real. It could be. The only thing that makes me say it cant be is the fact that I doubt they would do 2 dragons as planeswalkers (3 if you count ugin) and a beast one. But then again, who knows. Magics thrown me weirder stuff.
And that is my first post, inspired to put something to the awesome art shown. so hey guys.
