Quote from TheGroglord »This card has 2 different versions; one cares about flavour text and the other cares about odd/even collector numbers.
Quote from Star Slayer »A land that becomes a spell later is really, really useful. Even if it is a bad spell, it is basically an additional spell drawn for free. And sacrificing a land is a negligible cost later in the game, unless your deck has a really high curve.
Quote from Life_Weaver »Very solid uncommon. It also reminds me of Pelakka Wurm, another very solid uncommon, back when I was drafting Rise of the Eldrazi when it first came out.

Catch // Release
Gain control of target permanent until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn
Each player sacrifices an artifact, a creature, an enchantment, a land and a planeswalker
this is a card I'm definitely happy with running, although the color combination makes me wonder where to put this...
Quote from AsatasFirst I was like "awesome tech yeah" and then I read the line "in his draw step" and threw it at the other dollar rares... fragile edh tech, but that's about it...
Quote from Hallow36It's going to be hilarious in edh when i minds aglow, let everyone tap their mana, and then flash this guy in to dash all their dreams.
Quote from Fajita!Playing that guy in response to a brainstorm is ridiculous value. You draw three and they put two back?
Quote from MonopomanBecause that is a completely different card. This card actually gives the opponent the opportunity to think twice with this guy on the field to draw a card on your turn since he hasn't drawn a card.
I also believe if he casts sphinx's on your turn and you flash this guy in he still gets the first card drawn.
Not to mention if they ever make an emblem that gives you another card every turn or you have a token that gives you cards like a token of an Ophidian then your version does not interact with those.
Quote from CactuscorpusSo if a Sphinx goes off for 8, and I cast this in response, do I draw 8 or 1?
Quote from immapwnerThis card isn't terrible, will probably see some play in block, definitely not standard.
But it can deal with with varolz, lotleth troll, and tajic quite nicely. All things that need more answers in block.
Quote from patomalucobad card is bad :/
