Here is a deck that was gathering dust on a back shelf. I just recently pulled it out and decided to start overhauling it. It relies on getting out the cards that divert your opponents to leave you alone (Ghostly Prison, Hissing Miasma) while you slowly drain their life away with cards like Urborg-Syphon Mage. I know the deck could use a LOT of work, but it was my first true multiplayer deck I've built. I'd love to hear some suggestions on how to make it better!
Looks fun. I'd replace Civic Wayfinder with Elvish Archdruid, which pumps and is better for multikicking that Warcaller. Llanowar Reborn is also good, specially with Joraga Warcaller
I do like the idea of Llanowar Reborn, and had totally forgotten about it. The question is, what should I drop for it? Usually decks that I build don't have that tight of a setup, but I was already having issues getting in the cards I wanted!
I think he needs Civic Wayfinder to search for swamps. There's a similar elf in the M11 set. I might go -1 Wayfinder, +2 new elf, and then drop the 3x Rampant Growth.
The deck could use some draw, so maybe take the two freed-up slots and add Harmonize. Alternately, you could run 4x Imperious Perfect and use her to pump out more tokens for the eventual Overrun.
Allies is right, I'm using the Wayfinders to find my Swamps. I had considered Archdruid, and it wouldn't kill me to take out the B and make it Mono-G, but I like Nath and Rhys, and that's the part of the fun, isn't it? Playing with cards you like?:D
Anywho, I had thought about the new Elf coming out (Sylvan Ranger), but since the Wayfinder has the Warrior subtype, I kept him in instead. However, I could see using the Rangers versus the Rampant Growths, and then up my Imperious Perfect count. What about using Cultivate instead of that, though?
I also like the idea of throwing in Harmonize. I'll toy with the list today!
Deckbuilding has never been one of my strong points, but I've decided I'll never get better if I don't try! This is my BG Elf deck I've been tinkering around with, and wanted to post it here for everyone's opinion. I was starting out with trying to abuse the Joraga Warcaller and Bramblewood Paragon, and decided to throw in a few other tricks to make Joraga my somewhat-Lord (other than the Perfects). I'm still unsure about the Door of Destinies, but I don't like using Coat of Arms since it can help out my opponent, too.
I'm more than happy to hear everyone's ideas!
P.S. Nath and Rhys are both in here just for fun times, as they're my two favorite elves!
