You don't know any cops who want to do their jobs right? Well that's unfortunate. We should probably stop arming them if they can't even approach a car correctly.
Nothing you said there had anything to do with your anecdote. I was only refuting your anecdote that police are worried they'll hand to be good at their jobs.
The study showed that it reduced complaints by 89% and use of force by 56% or something similar so who cares if cops have to do a little extra training?
I don't remember this at all. When/where were people testing GGT and claiming that? I remember people testing out Dread Return and concluding it broke the turn four rule and was too strong for Modern, but I can't remember anyone claiming that for GGT.
I believe it was Kenshin and Bocephus doing testing? Anyways, I called the GGT unban and DRS ban back in 2013:
Here is something I think is quite hilarious (or sad): there was not a single Golgari Grave-Troll at the Pro Tour.
By the way, the meta hasn't been figured out yet, but Abzan seems to have underperformed, if compared to its meta share. There's really no point in discussing bans/unbans yet.
I predicted this over a year ago when people were "testing" ggt and saying it broke the turn four rule and was too strong for modern. It seems I was right, it's impact has no effect on the format and should not have been banned.
I think you may have missed the point. In fact I know you did, because all you did was post another "GRRR I HATE REPUBLICANS" post. The point of my post was, Net Neutrality is a non-partisan issue. What that means is that there isn't a "party line" on it. By making it a partisan issue you are pushing away supporters. You are making it harder to win support for your cause.
Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (in early January 2009) in which they laid out their daring (though cynical and political) no-honeymoon strategy of all-out resistance to a popular President-elect during an economic emergency. “If he was for it,” former Ohio Senator George Voinovich explained, “we had to be against it.”
While we're on the subject of GTA, doesn't strike it as odd to anyone else that skeletons are the ones complaining about violence in video games today? Given the controversy that has surrounded video games, 10-15 years ago it was the exact opposite when social conservatives were the ones complaining about how violent video games led to shootings and whatnot.
Is this actually a thing or just something you heard second hand. I would like to see a link to some evidence.
Because nothing says "support my cause" like turning a nonpartisan issue into a partisan bash fest...
When your party's position is so ridiculously just "whatever Obama isn't doing" it's accurate. Like what they're doing with Bibi. And vaccines of all things.
People without proper sexual education tend to have more children so sure, it's disadvantageous but because it isn't selected for it really doesn't matter.
Is the value what a rational actor would pay for it, or the best anyone would pay for it? Certainly we could imagine that the people on the island aren't rational and pay more than the number of coconuts that will ultimately be received.
The absolute best price (generally measured using currency) you could possibly hope to achieve. The idea is that people only buy things if they believe it is being sold below it's value.
Market value is what coconuts are normally sold for.
I think you have that backwards, debt is always greater. Money gets capped and debt is infinite. Even if we include perfectly spherical frictionless rational consumers.
Ban chat? In the banlist thread?

Mind you I also wanted thoughtsieze and chrome mox to swap so you can hammer me for being only half right.

In a place that wasn't too small.
