I for one love everything about the set EXCEPT the flip cards. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. But that is what? 1/13th of the set? I guess more like 1/12th if you take out basic lands. meh, I will get over them. I am really diggin the set
Wait... did we actually get to season Jessica's boobs?! They were in full view?! How the hell did I miss this!? The last scene when her and Jason get down, I was distracted by my wife (not like that... we were laughing at how awful the show is). You mean to tell me I missed boobs?! To On Demand with me!!!
The only thing that I genuinely liked about the finale is that Eric and Bill seem to genuinely be united as a team. I think this could be real fun next season. And YES despite it all I WILL watch next season!
The thing that struck me most, was that my reaction to when Tara got her head blown off was that I more or less didnt care. And she was one of my "favorite" charachters. Honestly, if they killed Bill or Sookie, I wouldnt bat an eye lash.
Man... for a REALLY bad show, this finale was REALLY REALLY bad. So boring, so unconvincingly executed. "Okay this is gonna happen... and then ummm... this is gonna happen... Just go wth it!" It is like the writers all have ADD and have no idea how to string plot points. Truly horrible.
And all of the things that are supposed to get us "excited" about the end of the season and start of next were dumped out of a grandmother's purse on to the floor and picked at random. Not one of them made sense or fit anything. They were just "there".
Good lord this truly is the least carefully crafted show of all time.
I always buy, in bulk - at bulk prices, precons for breakdown and playset sale. I ordered 6 cases of this precon. I track every penny spent and earned for each of these precons. In a week I have almost broken even without yet selling the "big" card in the set: Nicol Bolas. Currently they are priced too low and I am waiting for the market to even out a bit and I can get at least $45 after expenses on those playsets. I expect that when all is said and done revenue on this will be about 150% of expenses in total. Maybe just a little higher. That isnt that good. That isnt that bad. Pulling from my spreadsheet, these are the returns I have had previously. I close calculation on a precon once all cards worth $1 or more on the secondary are sold:
Fire and Lightning: 178%
Elspeth vs Tezzeret: 212%
Phyrexia vs Coalition: 169%
Knights vs Dragons: 156%
Commander: 164% (this isnt done yet, I still have quite a few smaller commanders left and some other decent stuff like greaves and 1 or 2 sol ring sets... I expect this to hit 178-180% when all is said and done)
I should also caveat the PvC as I got a stellar deal on those and only ended up paying $11 a duel deck. If I paid my standard $15+ a duel deck, the margin would have been much smaller. It is the worst of the DDs so far. I put this one at #2 worst printed yet tied with KvD (at least since I started doing this as part of my ebay sales). I have found that if you are willing to put in the work, there is money to be made on these precons. I had hoped this one to be much better based on walkers that were announced when I made my pre-order. Oh well! They cant all be Elspeth vs Tezzerets
Koth vs Venser will probably be great... couse I thought that about this!
I guess I should also state what I paid for each duel deck/precon as a price point reference:

Oh man! Just saw it is instant! I was like: "Meh, that is pretty good. 1CMC better than clone. But with P.Metamorph, this prob wont see much action..." Then I saw Instant!!!!
13 damage presumably kills any Humans you have on the table. The Angel is no longer indestructible, but still has 13 damage marked on it, so it's destroyed.
this is unkillable until you don't have a human. I can't think of any kill spell that hits through hexproof and indestructible.

But I love this card. The johnny in me is picturing: Invisible stalker, Blade Splicer, this gal, and venser with some swords and the sword as a deck base.
I love this guy in Pod. He can hit the board T3 (Bird T1, Pod T2, Viridian Emissary T3 - Sac Emissary and grab Skaab) That leaves you with 6 mana on T4 and a huge beater with evasion. You can now hardcast a top deck and/or continue on with general POD shenanigans.

I have never seen anyone play cerebral erruption, and yea slagstorm works if you have no humans at 3 or under toughness.
