I much rather would have gotten another Ghost Council card. Don't like her at all and what's worse is she is "leading" one of my favorite guilds now. The card itself is very weak.
Seems boring as others have said. For one mana more I think I would just run baneslayer. This could have been a rare with no problem. Orzhov seems to have gotten the two worst mythics this time around.
It is interesting to note Rakdos is the only original Guild leader that is left now. Who would have thought it would be the R/B demon that survives the longest.
Niv is alive as well, just currently not in the leading position. Or am I missing something?
He's very much alive, as are Razia and Azor; it's unclear whether Svogthir is, undeath being what it is. But, Rakdos is the only parun who has continuously led his guild since the Guildpact was signed.
I forgot about Niv Mizzet who actually got a card with the last set. Rakdos is the only one still leading as you said.

I am currently in the process of selling off most of my collection. Among the cards I have playsets of the Duals from Revised, Moat, A few mox, Time Walk, Ancestral Recall, Playset of Workshop and a fair bit of other stuff from the earlier sets like Nether Void. ebay was my first thought but my biggest worry is the person claiming they didn't get the card or saying it wasn't as described and we know ebay usually sides with the buyer. This leaves local stores and individuals. My question is do stores usually buy these kinds of cards and how much might they offer? Any recommendations?
Considering Dimir got shafted pretty hard last time around I'm glad to to see it got some good cards now. Typically U and B have been two of the strongest colours in the game, it makes sense Dimir should be one of the strongest guilds. The only other Guild I care about from this set is Golgari and they have quite a few playable cards as well, namely Assassin's Trophy. Overall it looks like a decent set, I think I was more excited for Return to Ravnica than this one though.
Only So many things you can do. Magic has been around for 25 years now.
