I'd probably split the difference and cut 1 from each color and add 5 fixing lands (maybe the Vivids, maybe a mix of different ones). If you end up needing more than 5, you can make more cuts later. I'd have a really hard time cutting cards for more fixing when I think the fixing lands that aren't in the cube already aren't that great. However, I normally cube with 6-8 people drafting and almost never do sealed, so my environment is different.

This. Always nice to do a small tweak and then test it, and if you need more, add more later.
U/x ramp, and then wildfire (which often includes upheaval... for maximum troll). I have been playing wildfire since urza's (I crushed many a tournament with Kai's deck), so it's certainly in my wheelhouse.
Thanks Star! I am constantly have them being done - totally addicted to them. I gotta update my cube page this week with the new ones. I am hoping to arrange my alters by artists for easy viewing.
Hal: I am thinking of doing a very robust article that looks over several U/X tempo variants. U/G/w is my favourite way of running the deck. I am super greedy and gotta sneak that giest in there =P.
Every time I feel like Magic cards have reached their ceiling, they find a way to become even more expensive. With just a couple of card trade-ins, I've paid for my last couple years worth of cube updates with just profits. Selling my foiled Mind Sculptor (replacing it with an altered one) for example, made me enough cash to do a year's worth of set updates and pay for it's replacement. That's all pure profit. And I did the same thing with my Champs Mutavault too. Just by selling a few foils that have gone up super high in value, I've been able to buy new cards for my cube without dipping into cash outside of the cards I sell. It's become a self-sustaining entity at this point, and that's just selling the foils I "update" to alters for profit; I don't even have to re-sell the cards I remove from the cube. My on-deck binder just grows and grows. Will it continue to be able to do so? I don't know. Maybe it's just the luck of investing in the collection at the perfect time, but it works for now.
I have also experienced this effect. Who knows how long prices will go up, but I am constantly pulling foils out and selling them to pay for alters.
I have taken a bit of a hiatus from this project for a few months with vacation/exams/life catching up with me. However, I will be writing the next article over my upcoming break. So, are their any requests for archetypes???
I primarily use wtwlf123's cube as a baseline, just as a reminder.
Cloudgoat is white's siege-gang. I don't think I could ever dream of cutting this army in a can. Especially now that cards like curse of predation and spear are in the cube, he is one deadly 5 drop. Not to mention the lovely bounce interactions.

Yup, its a CE. and yup, its mine.

Thanks for the awesome feedback!

I am thinking of doing my next archetype article on blue/x tempo. I love the deck so much.

I gave up there at the end, you really wanted it =P. I was happy getting the tribe elder though.
