Vs control, i think sphynx is slightly better, as it cant be bounced by jace/roiled/removed. But against anything else, frost is better, but can eat a doom blade or 2 bolts (unlikely).
They are Doom blaring for 4. Which makes such spells incredibly easy to mana leak or work around. Not to mention double bolt is costing them six. Easy to handle.
Yeah no doubt... Thanks for a terrible version of Bob. It would be nice for Wiz to give a nice black sweeper again. Maybe another variant of Damnation could be in the works...
I play a sort of hybrid type (probably leaning more towards Tap-out though) and I play everflowing chalice... So as to your idea that Tapout uses it and permission does not, I will have to agree with Sam. Tapout wants to roll out spells ASAP, permission rather mana out on opponents turns to get advantage.
This is a list that I came up with and has been putting up rather decent results at my local FNM. Unfortunately, as we all know, FNM does not always bring top tier decks. That being said, I was wanting to get some feedback about the list I compiled. Any card choice questions please ask and feel free to be as candid as you want.
This is the deck that won the BC - Provincial States. I happen to really like its build, using a range of Koth lands, Rein'd fatties, Wurmcoil engines and of course Jace 2.0... It seems very fun and has some fun interactions... without further wait here it is.
Glimmerpoint Stag. Bounce him with Venser, and when he enters on your opponents turn, exile Venser so he can't be killed of. Sure he doesn't technically get his Loyalty counters from being exiled. But it's cute.
Im 99% positive that you when you bounce something with Venser, it phases back in on the NEXT endstep, not necessarily your opponents.
Thanks DeckCheck for all the valuable info you have provided us magic players for a long time. Although I am saddened to see you leave, I respect your choice and your commitments.
I'm thinking -1 mimic vat +1 answer to masticore. Or maybe even put back in necropede.
***... you mean Day of Judgement right?
Just consider this, a bunch of 2 and 3 ofs doesnt lead reliability. Im not sure I like mimic vat in here at all. Another clasp maybe? and I would up to 4 wall of omens.
Wow, your teachers are harsh. I've slept in every one of my classes since junior year in high school and none of my teachers or professors did anything drastic aside from a few words the first time it happened.
There've been classes where I haven't ever been awake the entire period.
I wasnt feeling good one day in HS my senior year so I took medicine. I accidentally took NyQuil and was only awake during class changes. I missed lunch
Sidenote: My longest paper was for my senior project to graduate college and was 30 pages.

Yes, I believe so. He is very good in all the testing I have done. Definitely worth a heavy consideration.
That being said... I dont play him.

That being said my meta is heavy with aggro, poison and valakut ramp. So I find these to be very useful.

So protecting him in this way is not an option.
Best of luck!
