Holy crap, the pure amount of whining in this thread is ridiculous. Seriously? Really guys? I mean come on. I would actually agree with a few of the points people have made if they weren't made in between "Well if someone makes a giant mana investment with 5 different cards how can I deal with it besides counter?" and "QQ counter is so OP blue has always been the favored child". God, both sides of this argument are just pulling a massive Chicken Little. "Blue has good creatures now, it's gonna be overpowered and ruin the game because it has good creatures AND counterspells". "They're not reprinting Mana Leak, Cavern of Souls exists, counterspells are useless and it's going to ruin the game". Everyone just needs to take a chill pill, and calm down.

But according to the philosophy of the RC that is a reason why it should be banned.

The only deck I wouldn't want to see this in are:

As stated many times before, cards that say: "Pay 200 euro: Your deck now wins 10% more often." is not something they want to have.

Having a card that will not cause problems for 90% of the community on one end and be no worse than other cards on the other banned is something that should be fought against.

But it gets a problem when that 90% keeps losing (guaranteed) because they can't pay that amount of money.

Both are on the banlist for another reason.

I would argue that the vast majority of people voting yes are doing so NOT because they understand the cards power level but because it has the words "extra turn" on it. So no, the number of people who have voted yes is in fact irrelevant for an actual discussion. This thread is not supposed to be a circlejerk.

After this line it seems quite hypocrite to complain about people making personal attacks instead of actually discussing the stuff.
