Case in point, you don't want to be with someone who already thinks of you as "whipped" and not equal to her based on what we are assuming is second hand information from a friend of hers talking about your previous relationship.

That's not saying you can't still treat your church group as well, your church group. Just let it roll off your shoulders. Don't hold any spite over the situation, just be happy that you probably have just dodged a bullet that would of stabbed you in the back sometime down the road.

Like, as far as I've been able to research we're not even talking about capability fighting on a microscopic level, we're talking about just plain fighting on a physical level.

Ezio beats up a bunch of goons and "assassins" in a virtual reality.

And if this Grey Fox guy is the same as Metal Gear Solid, than he's really just a sub boss cyber ninja with no defined special abilities or even equipment on his wiki page.

Just in sheer brute strength and fighting skill, I don't see Team Assassin's doing much of anything against a couple of cyborgs.

Unless the original nominator for Team Assassins comes in and lays down some serious information, then it looks like these guys are more gimped than Team Aimbot is without special arrows. lol.

Seriously, who seconded a nomination for such a weak team when looked at side by side with the likes of Doomsday, Kefka, Abaddon and Adult Avatar Aang?

I don't really know too much about Buffy (Gasp, Internet Blasphemy!) but what I know of Blade, he's pretty strong in his own right.

I'm gonna have to do some thinking on this one, as I'm not 100% sure how either team utilizes their 30 minute prep time or how any of them use the red mana generated every turn from the Terrain.

I'm leaning Team Aimbot, mostly because the terrain seems pretty wide open so sniping will be pretty easy, and Hawkeyes ammo is coated in deux ex machina. lol.

But I'll do some research on what Buffy can do before I absolutely disqualify the slayers.

I literally know almost next to nothing about any of the participants in this match. But as little as I do know, I don't think any of these guys are magic users, so the terrain is kind of a dud for this match sadly.

My first impressions tell me this match goes to Borg/Carter super soldiers. But this match is so unknown to me that I am wide open to arguments.

Who knows, maybe someone's going to make some arguments about how Samantha Carter is capable of world destroying powers that annihilates all life on the planet like every Versus Battle we get. lol.

Well since an official result hasn't been announced, and the poll vote has been tied, giving the edge to Team Chaotic Genius, I'm gonna go ahead and vote for Team Crazy Supernatural Killers if it's not too late.

If for no other reason than I want to see what happens in a complete tie.

Yeah I'm still not buying the whole Gigatons thing as anything more than just a flashy gimmick. Otherwise Dante has been striking things with force greater than 8.5 Earth Quakes and at her peak destroys enemies with the force of the meteor that crashed into Earth that destroyed the dinsosaurs.

The only thing I could come up with is that Kefka doesn't stop the main FF party from defeating him and stopping his plans through magic in the final boss fight, so I don't know his actual scope of control over magic.

    Uhm...what?

So Dante travelling at 40m/s and punching Abaddon would generate enough force to destroy the entire planet, therefore we should call for his teams disqualification for doing so...but it still wouldn't put a dent in Abaddon's Chaos Mark blessed Terminator Armor?

    That...literally doesn't make a lick of sense.

I think the next time we do a tournament like this, there NEEDS to be a Power Level Review Stage before any teams are finalized for nomination because we seem to be running into this world crushing level of power problem every single week. And Super Man is banned...why?

I'm gonna have to retract my vote from either side until I sleep on it. Because right now both arguments are equally ridiculous in power scale.

I'll make my final decision in the morning.

To be fair if we are to believe the Blessing of Tzeentch to be true, then no matter how fast Dante moves than Abaddon will still have a chance to predict what exact move Dante is going to do and even if he can't react in time to strike Dante first, he could have Tezzeret cast whatever protective artificial spell he can to give Abaddon the maximum possible protection against the blow.

That's why it's so important to figure out exactly HOW strong etherium armor is. It's team Chaotic Genius' only hope of being able to survive the first flurry of blows from Dante in order to give Abaddon a chance to rip the very fabric of reality from his bones.

On a lighter note, I would love to see Abaddon Vs. Dante & Bayonetta. With both of those protagonists capable of defeating essentially the equivalents of God and Satan in their realm, facing the representation of the 4 God's of Chaos would be a great step up. lol.

Since we're pretty much down to the nitty gritty here, with deadline approaching tomorrow, does anyone have any final arguments or requests for repeats of major arguments in order to help decide which way they lean in this match? I'll be happy to review objectively the best points on each side, even if I am voting for the FF guys.

    Poll Votes:
    Sephiroth & Kefka: 14
    Mewtwo & Bolas: 16

Post Votes (By my count, only considering posts that have explicitly stated who they are voting for, not leaning)

    Sephiroth & Kefka:
    Plaguefather
    Kraken B. Trippin
    Catmurderer
    Biefall
    Sirpsychosexy
    ISO
    Warp778
    Stardust (switched vote)
    Wikidclowne
    Von

    Mewtwo & Bolas:
    Jeff Crandall
    KyleR (switched vote)
    Draftguy2
Great Lobachevsky (I actually haven’t seen an actual vote for one team or the other from him, but his pretty heavy defense of Psychic Monsters makes me believe Poring was counting his vote by proxy, so I will too)

    That makes the totals:
    Seph & Kefka: 24 (14 Poll and 10 Post)
    M2 & Bolas: 20 (16 Poll and 4 Post)

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I pretty much reread the entire thread.

Based on the evidence presented thus far I'm gonna have to go with switching my vote to Team Crazy Supernatural Killers. I wish they had a more creative team name, as that just sounds really lame. But whatevs.

So long as Dante and Bayonetta can generate enough force to burst through Abaddon's Terminator Armor, I don't see his one shot kill being anymore effective than any of Bayonetta or Dante's gigatons of generated damage.

Granted, I totally believe that the Gigaton thing is just a game gimmick and not meant to be an ACTUAL interpretation of how much force she's generating, but so long as the argument is there I'll buy it.

The only counter argument I've heard to Dante and Bayonetta's abilities thus far have been "The Chaos God's Blessings counteract everything anyone can do to Abaddon" which really isn't good enough for me at the present time. I'm gonna need some hard data to counter Iso's evidence of what Dante and Bayonetta can do.

Is there any evidence on how strong Tezzeret's etherium metal is and how much damage it can resist? Because that's the only saving grace I see for team Chaotic Genius at this point, is if Tezzeret's augmentations could protect Abaddon just long enough for him to bring down the Drach'nyn on the head of Dante before Dante can punch him.

Also of note is the back and forth that region locking wave is apparently making.

The most sense i can make of it is this:
    1. Buy a USA Region Game.
    2. It MUST be activated in the USA region.
    3. It Needs a USA Region XB1 (this point isnt clear yet, but im making a assumption here)
    4. You can play the game even if you move to another region.

a.What happens when you have a USA region XB1, move to say... UK region and then buy a UK game and instal it? i dont know.

b.If you use the same example but import a USA Region game? dont know, it seems it wont work since it needs to be ACTIVATED in the same region....

Honestly MS... you need to stop saying anything at all, get everyone together and get an unified message, then stick to it cause this flip-flopping is getting crazy stupid.

Unfortunately you're assuming Microsoft gives a damn about pleasing anyone other than a very specific niche market in the United States only. Their PR issues with international markets is well established, sadly.

Thing is, I believe Kefka allowed the party access to magic simply out of boredom. Shrugs I have seen nothing that indicates he would give Nicol Bolas this advantage if he knew the rules of engagement in this scenario. I seriously don't understand how Psychic Monsters has more votes, here. Sure, Kefka has Chronic Backstabbing Disorder, but he at least used Gestahl until he didn't need him anymore. Why wouldn't the same apply to Sephiroth? As for the God of Magic thing, when Kefka died, all magic faded from the world. He controls the mana flow in this situation, plain and simple.

Well considering we're on a magic the gathering forum, in a tournament match featuring a magic the gathering character, those on the side of Team Final Fantasy Villains already had a massive uphill battle to climb in arguing in favor of their team just due to skewed popularity. lol. I think our only hope here is if each and every person who votes for Sephiroth and Kefka actually posts their support as well. lol.

How else do you think Captain America and Gideon were able to beat the Flash, despite all arguments pointing towards Flash being nigh unbeatable? lol.

I don't think it had anything to do with Captain America.

(On a slight bit of a tangent, it baffles me how Doomsday lost the first round. Tongue But that's a discussion for another thread.)

So how powerful a concussive blast are you talking, here?

Well, considering the armor can take a marble building falling on top of it, and is designed to withstand laser blasts from a large war machine, I'd say it would require about as much as it would take to blast through said war machine in order to put a dent in the armor.

Therefore, kicking a bus isn't exactly on bar with that. But say, a punch from super man, a straight gut shot from Wolverines claws, a force storm blast from Palpatine, something that if it can't penetrate the armor, at least cause his body a severe amount of trauma due to the sheer power of a sonic wave or something similar that effects the mind/nerves without needing to necessarily penetrate.
