It's one of those, high risk, high reward hands. The fact you have bauble almost makes it harder to decide. What if you bauble and see a land on top. Then you want to wait a turn to IoK to set up your hand. It's nice if you don't see a land, because then you can fetch and IoK without regret. I'd probably mull, especially on the play. On the draw, I might keep it.

The white splash is too good vs the grindy matches. If the meta really did slant to combo and ramp, then I could see the jund build being better, but there are so many matches I dropped post board because I didn't have the white cards. They give you more threats to weaken 1 for 1 spot removal.

Idk if I'd want to shave on TBR at this point, but I could see swapping the terminate with it mb/sb

Third TBR in the sb too. It is really good vs dredge and when we need to race, but it's also a dead card at times.

yeah, it's nice for those dudes that are higher than 4 cmc and being able to hit things 3+ without revolt.

I've been rocking terminate over 4th push for a bit now. I don't really like scooze though. It's rarely active fast enough. The spellbomb is a 1 drop answer that we can hold back for value and extraction is "free" and instant. I don't think a "3" drop is good enough when it will hit at most 3-4 at a time and usually 1-2

I'm rocking the 2 hope and 1 veil mb, with a second veil in the sb. It's not often I prefer the veil though.

Sorry Lantern, but you misread the card and it cuts down on some of your hits. It won't hit bloodrush or cycling because it has to be on the battlefield to shock them. It does still have a lot of hits though.

Nvm, I could be wrong on that part. Wonky wording and all.

Yeah, this is super aggressive and awesome.

Yeah, they've been running the package though. Ranger seems strong late game any shadow list nabbing 2 more shadows for you. I'll probably test grixis before Vegas, but I love Jund.

Grixis is supposed to be good vs the mirror and I've seen them splashing white for that same sb as us. haha

Yeah, I don't necessarily like W cards mb. I've liked flayer in the deck mb befor. Even as a 2/2, if you can connect, you get to dig 3 cards and probably turn on delirium. He's also more copies of "goyf" to a less extent.

I can see where he's coming from, but not completely agree. I wouldn't mind more dudes in the mb at times as it is sometimes slow to get DS online.

Went to a GPT to try to get some byes today and did alright.

    Round 1 was against tron.

We both durdled some on game 1 and he had natural tron and locked the game with a Karn.
Game 2 I should have lost, but he misplayed and killed himself. He was at 1 and I was at 2 facing an Ugin looking to bolt me. He forgot he was at 1 and used Karpulsan forest for G killing himself.
Game 3 I hit a turn 1 Thoughtseize, turn 2 Shadow, Turn 3 and 4 fulminator and hit for lethal the turn after.

Round 2 I get rocked back to back by another tron deck. I almost get him game 1 with a scavenged up Varolz, but he has sundering titan to take my red sources and follows that up with a Karn.

Round 3, I played elves and stomped him.

Round 4, I played Junk Tokens and he gets too many dudes going too fast for me to keep up with as well as path to get rid of my dudes.

Round 5, I played the mirror... kind of, He was more traditional Jund, with the Death shadow package. We went to 3 games, but I clutched it and won in the end. Tie breakers put me just out of Top 8, so no byes for me. I love the white splash being back in and I'm also on the mana base with no basic forest.

Seems like a fine primer, but there's a handful of errors in it as well as a bit of bias. I think overall it's fine though.
