This deck is already going to evolve. I want to drop the Llanowar Wastes for 4 Overgrown Tomb, but I'm not wanting to spend so much on this deck since it is only casual, so it might not happen. An oxymoron, however, is that I am wanting a playset of Twilight Mire. The reason I don't have a problem with it, is that lands have a hard time dropping in value, and it mana ramps, giving that extra 1 mana can really help.
The Exhume will be traded for Victimize, and Overrun with Creakwood Liege will be traded for 3 Garruk Wildspeaker, and Phyrexian Rager will be traded to Vampire Nighthawk.
That leaves me with 2 slots open. They might become more spells that I already have in the deck, or they might become land. I haven't had trouble with mana, so far. I stress "so far," because this deck morphed from the last time I played it, and I dropped 4 spells of mana ramp so I don't know how it will do the next time I play it.
As for my sideboard choices, Grasp will become Doom Blade, Blightwidow will become Plummet.
With everything being said and done, the deck will look like:
Hopefully this will work for me. I don't think I've figured out it's power curve yet. Win-con is getting a sword attached to Glissa, Thrun, or dropping the two wurms on turn 3, or Overrun via Garruk.
EDIT
My comment about twlight mire and mana accelerating was wrong. Still, another dual isn't bad, and I stand by my comment about it not losing value easily.
LOL Three million cards. That's a wall of "Nope" for me. Well, glad you aren't stressing a lot. Only things I keep now are cards that go into Shardless BUG and Burn. I don't bother with anything else. WotC irritates me with how they blatantly ignore my format. I've told WotC and MaRo on their Twitter to go **** themselves after not having video coverage at GP Louisville. Not sure I'll ever go to a GP again just so I give them as little money as possible. I still attend local events, like the CFB $3K coming up in Santa Clara.
Number two coming along eh? You've been busy That's pretty cool man. Congratulations. I actually lost my job in November last year and decided to go back to school. This time for a field I should have gone into in the first place. Journalism. Media to be specific. Not main stream, though. Vice would be the closest I get to to that. I'd like to eventually have my own YouTube company providing the best news out there on subjects that matter. I have a plan, and I'm moving towards it.
As I was saying earlier, I just have a set amount of cards for my two decks of Shardless and Burn. Cards are various iterations of Burn and what side board cards the decks use. I sold everything else to CFB at their last $3K and bought a skydive and plane trip lol. ******* ***** man, adrenaline is addicting.
I suspect he is playing without fetches because he's playing Flame Rift and trying to mitigate the self inflicted damage. Between Eidolon and Flame Rift, that's a lot of damage and there's a lot of heavy hitters in the field right now and trying to match that with four damage spells.
You gotta relax every now and again and go on trips. Good for the soul man. You lose monetary gains, but you gain some happiness, which is why you went for money in the first place.
I'm not sure I can stress this enough with these guys.
I'm curious, what are you thoughts about Belbe in this regard?
My bad. I just looked at the forum location and saw that it was in Legacy General.
Because he wanted a larger audience. The Legacy forum here is dead, if not on life support. He actually said that in one of his above posts.
Pretty much. If you like Barbarian Ring, you could play one or two there. It's hilarious when you keep it in hand then drop it for the kill. Miracles players are notorious at having a low life total before stabilizing. Needle is another card to use against them, naming Top. Pyrostatic Pillar can be brought in because their digging for their combo hurts at every cantrip. If you really hate Miracles like I do, you could even have some number of Vexing Shusher in your side.
Thanks for the news flash! I hadn't realized that I went from every Sunday Legacy show to just local small store events on cam. Can't help but fight the ebb and flow of a money grubbing company, sometimes.
I am the definition of salt right now.
