Do these box mapping techniques work with foreign language boxes? I have a friend getting a korean box and am wondering if providing the pack information will be useful or not to solving the map.
Do you guys think that Tablet of the Guilds might be good sideboard tech for all of the aggro decks out there? Naming blue and white could gain us 7 life over a game.
I have my Trades sorted like this (Mostly standard stuff at this point)
Land -> Multi (Azorius, Selesnya, Izzet, Golgari, Rakdos, Misc.) ->Artifacts -> Blue ->White -> Green -> Black -> Red
Non-Trades/format staples go in a box sorted alphabetically by color to save space.
I won my game day with a U/R control deck with Temporal Mastery that splashed green for a maindeck Crushing Vines and Ancient Grudge.
R1 Beat Mono W tokens 2-0
R2 Beat WUR Control (Deck was weird, had Fettergeist and Emancipation Angel) 2-1
R3 Beat GW Midrange 2-0
R4 Beat Mono B Control 2-0
R5 Beat UW Delver 2-0
The UW Delver player is one of the better players at my store, and I played sloppily but still managed to pull out a win. He flooded out a bit and bricked on a few ponders when a topdecked Pike would have killed me.
Whatever happened to the Maverick lists with Punishing Fire and Grove of the Burnwillows? Are they just strictly worse than GW Maverick or is there some other reason they aren't played as much.
Hey everyone! I was wondering what prices your LGS bought cards at. My store pays 20% cash, 40% store credit, and 50% towards singles. Is this a typical rate, or are their prices really low?
I took some notes about the deck, but I don't have them available right now. I will try to post a tl;dr version of the deck updates by tomorrow.
