I will point out that Hasbro makes a HELL of a lot of toys in China. And they are part of trade groups that also offshore our toys to China. Their business is worth billions. If they flex their muscle at Chinese officials who want to keep their factories in China and not in Malaysia or Vietnam, those officials will listen and counterfeiting will be clamped down on. It will never be extinguished (the entire malls of fake goods in Shenzen show that) but life could become uncomfortable for them. Just my 0.02c.

Stampeding Wildebeests is a bad card but works with the theme of the deck, I guess. Also, Venser, Shaper Savant.

Just realized that Green Sun's is a sorcery, so it won't be much good fetching up mystic snakes... But the snake still works well with the shard.

Mystic Snake is timeshifted and therefore legal, and seems to work well with Crystal Shard and Green Sun's Zenith. You might also look into Coiling Oracle. Also, Jace, the Wallet Slayer bounces a creature like the Shard and makes everything else in the deck work better.... it's too bad he's the first card to look at when playing Islands.

    Hi

My favorite deck to play on MTGO in the classic 2HG room is Obliterate, I've been playing it every once in a while for a couple of years and I always go back to it. Obliterate just squeaks into Modern with its 8th edition printing, so I think it could be worked into a deck. Obliterate and something that survives it is like Karn Liberated except that it doesn't take 3 turns of protecting it to charge it up and pop it, and it can't be countered.

I think Obliterate could fit into an Elves shell, though I use a pretty budget mana ramp deck. It's a one-card combo like Scapeshift (into Valakut, the molten pinnacle) and can even fit into the same colors as that deck as well, providing uncounterability.

Obliterate's best friend is [Garruk Wildspeaker] who provides mana to cast it, survives it, and provides creatures to end the game after it's cast. Greater Gargadon also provides an efficient finisher once it eats all the lands on the way to the graveyard.

I'd like suggestions on making an obliterate deck faster and more defensive (too bad no Tinder Wall in Modern), or putting it into a Valakut deck.

    This is my multiplayer version

An elf version could be done a lot of different ways,

Another card besides Amulet of Vigor to help you use the lands right away is Patron of the Orochi, which also gives you back all the mana you just paid for your X as well. What do you know, they're both mono green?

    Hi Friends

I think I've made a bloodchief ascension deck that works.

    [/deck]

Unlike other bloodchief decks, this deck does not require one in play to use otherwise dead cards to win.

Orb with bloodchief can steal a game, or I sometimes mill people out with mesmeric orb on the principle that big threats cost more mana than cheap removal. Also, the orb dumps Demigod of Revenge and Hellsparks, which improves a drawn demigod's potency by 2-4x. A lot of players just concede against Ankh of Mishra, and it ruins control decks; looking at your bomb spells and knowing you'll pay 10 life to get it out is disappointing. Staggershock is a 2-for 1 and can charge 2/3 of the Bloodchief. Hit/Run is an all-star, because it improves board position to let my creatures get through and deals damage to charge bloodchief. But if a bloodchief does come out, it's pretty hard for them to come back from it. I don't need cards like archive trap; I just watch them play instants or sorceries, or remove their creatures and Bloodchief does his thing on his own.

Are there any better 2-drops in black and/or red? What would the best draw spells be for me? How could this deck be improved to use in multiplayer free for all? A lot of single removal and burn is basically card disadvantage in FFA, or would i have to remake the whole thing?
