true, true... but in the eyes of the eyes of the people who complained when Karn, silver golem and mox diamond were reprinted in FTV: Relics will probably argue that it is a little too close to the original duals to their comfort, no?
Those people can shove it up thier arses. Let them continue staring at thier dual land playsets that never leave their not-for-trade binders.
I don't see why duals of any sort would get a poor reception. Printed as is, they're better than shocklands. I have no doubt that any set or block with these lands in them will probably have more than a few answers to them.
Even if the Snow mechanic was maligned, being a Snow land beats eating two life nine times out of ten.
what would it do in a real set>? normal games in Standard and Extended and legacy are 1v1......
Well, 98% of cards that come out have no impact on things outside of standard, and these definitely wouldn't.
They double as pump and removal. At the very least, they're limited worthy, and I think at least one piece of the cycle would be versatile to see play somewhere in standard.
Either I can punch through for the damage I need, or I can stop your guy from punching me or eating my 'Walker.
I'm really not worried about this, because any casual player with half a brain knows that you have to maindeck Disenchant effects for matters like this. You just have to hope you have it when the hammer comes down.
And like others have said, for some reason, people wanna play monored EDH decks. Personally, I think they're daft, but whatever.
I love the thought. I wish it had haste, though. If it had haste, it'd be worth tossing in janky reanimator.
Another card I'd run in a non-EDH deck. Nothing drives me to frothing in a seven-man game like that one jerk that thinks he can let the rest of the table wipe itself out. I'm all for stalling, but you're going to need a Fog or a Propaganda, holmes.
So "Can't search libraries" is a White, Blue, and Red ability?
Uh.
I like it, but it probably won't be in the deck I'm buying. With our house rules, this means getting your general shuffled into your library means it might not be coming back that game.
ehmm not that I know off.... oh and Archenemy didnt know she was in there.... so that adds then to what you said.... sozz.... but still, there have been other cards that where reprinted alot more times.... even some rares if you get what I mean....
also its not the worst card to be reprinted... she add''s coolness in a way, I hope some of the dissention cards get reprints.... I loved that set.... but I dont think they wil add most of the power cards from the sets.... like from kamigawa - umezawa's jitte, just to name one...
I'm kind of glad she is seeing reprint, because I really hated the people who would never trade thier copies when I was newer. It's just that there are other black fatties that need love, like Spirit of Night.
I doubt Jitte will ever be in a precon again. I think WotC learned from that mistake.
Does Avy-Woe get reprinted every single time WotC makes a set of casual decks?
I have a lot of memories of being a nublet and never being able to get my hands on the original Avy-Woe, but since Time Spiral, it feels like they reprint her in something every year...
I was just revamping my Intet deck to work around counters and creatures, and then this guy gets previewed not even an hour after I finish the shell.
Intet, she just got demoted.
I'm torn between the wedge color deck and going wild with artifact creature shenanigans. Affinity'ing into Kozilek or Ulamog or Blightsteel would be sweet. I guess I'll have to build both.
I like it. There's no block cut-off that's going to please everyone, and starting with Mirrodin/8th is as good a place as starting at Masques or Lorwyn block. My collection begins at Mirrodin.
Something had to get cut, and good riddance to those four blocks. Mirrodin-on has enough standard flashbacks to gripe at. I enjoy knowing that rebels, madness, and bidding have to sit it out, despite knowing I'll still have to contend with fae, dredge, zoo and vial.
I guess that would explain the code name thing.
That probably quashes any chance that they'll be coming out of development in the forseeable future.

That's the fate of most generals that don't dodge.
Sucks for BUG, since none of thier generals can dodge a bullet.
I'm guessing that the deck will run a lot of general support.
Two of the three generals burn your resources rather quick, leaving the third one of feed off other graveyards.
So the card's downside is that it dies to removal.
I laughed.

I hope this takes off.
