I do 3 player winston drafting. Each player has a pile of 45 cards in front of them, (Pile A, Pile B, Pile C). It begins with player A picking a stack from pile A, player B picking a stack from pile B, and player C picking a stack from pile C. Then player A picks a stack from pile B, player B picks a stack from pile C, and player C picks a stack from pile A. Then you go back to A picking from A, B picking from B, C picking from C. Repeat switching between the 2 stations until you're out of cards!
I support mono-black. It's aggro-based, with a bunch of phyrexian arena effects (arena, graveborn muse, bloodgift demon), 2-power 1 drops, and efficient spot removal and 2-for-1 removal.
Mana Vault should not cost 5 mana. It's just a strictly worse Thran Dynamo at that point. For Sol Ring, you don't want to up it to 3, otherwise it's just bad. I would do 2, and either ETBT, or doesn't untap unless you pay 2 during your upkeep (not both, otherwise it's terrible for cube again).
For Skullclamp, I would remove the +1/-1 clause. That's the easiest way to fix it
For Mana Vault, there's no way to "properly" balance it. The point of the card is that it gives you one time acceleration in any one color, but makes you pay for it by pinging you for the next few turns. If you increase the mana cost, you fundamentally change the card, and if you don't, there's no way around the fact that you can put out a 5 drop on turn 2 or a 6 drop on turn 3.
I have no doubt that it's an incredibly powerful card. My problem with it is that it's so uninteractive. I don't like cards like that, so I don't include it.
Exalted
Whenever equipped creature attacks alone, search your library for a card and exile it. If equipped creature deals combat damage to an opponent this turn, put it in your hand.
Equip 3
I really like the idea of an equipment with exalted, though I'm sure there are many ways to implement it.
New awesome card: 2UUClone with Ninjutsu 1U. I love clone effects, and this is a good one, especially in blink decks. I am a bit worried that it wont be able to find good enough copy targets with the ninjutsu returning an unblocked attacker, but it warrants a try.
Thromok is insane. I've been testing him, and if you can give him haste and trample (easy to do in red/green), he can easily take out a player the turn you cast him. Helm of Kaldra is Thromok's best friend.
The good BB cards are Hymn, Nantuko Shade, Bloodghast, Sinkhole, and Vampire Hexmage
