Your opponent attacks with a Noble Hierarch while you control a Circle of Flame. I am assuming that the active players exalted trigger will go on to the stack, then the non active players Circle of Flame ability will trigger, killing the 0/1. Is this correct, or can the active player decide how the triggers are stacked. Please let me know.
Primordial Hydra - This is probably the best most overlooked and powerful SB card in the format. Other than perhaps a sword of war and peace, this guy is the most explosive turn 3-4 play in standard. G/R aggro, RUG Pod, Naya Pod, Frites, and sometimes even Wolf Run have 1-2 answers in the entire deck. He is very difficult to answer.
Bonus underated: In no way underrated except to newer players, but yes Geist of Saint Traft is that good.
Overrated:
Wolfir Avenger - Not really as good as advertised. Borderline bad. Daybreak Ranger, is better in the RG aggro, Blade Splicer is better in the Naya Build, Dungrove is better in the mono green build, and borderline ranger fills in the gap in everything in bewteen. It was highly touted as a good fit, but It often must be cast mainphase to avoid counter spells, and if you want the regeneration ability that badly, just go with Thrun, who is fantastic.
Bonus Overrated: Dungrove elder. He is one of the best creatures in the format, but it must be built around in a mono green shell. When the card pool was much shorter, the card was better. But as the card pool grows, it benefits you to go multiple colors, and this card punishes you for that. If reprinted the card will shine post rotation, as mono green seriously outclassed mono red early in the season.
I think a lot of people aren't really understanding what the scenario I am trying to describe. Both Player A and B know that playing the second hunt master there is really really bad. However since it is so obviously bad, player A has to assume player B has a play in response to the trigger, an instant wither it be act of treason, galvanic blast/shock, or incinerate to blow him out if he decides to pass. So if Player A knows that, what is his line.
And Player A should know all of this. So can Player B simply play a huntmaster in that spot with no response to the trigger, essentially bluffing one. This is of course assuming player A is good enough to know he won't play it without something there, that's why i attempted to preface the entire situation.
Player A and Player B are both world class mtg players, and know each other well. Lets assume it is game 2, where both are playing RG Agro at a high level event. In this hypothetical situation both players open with a land, land, Green Sun's Zenith for Birds of Paradise. Now on turn 3 Player A, who went first ,plays land then Huntmaster of the Fells and passes. Player B then duplicates by playing a land and huntmaster, then passes. What is Player As action on his 4th turn? Does he play out another threat or basically skip his turn to trigger his huntmaster.
Please only respond if you familiar with the deck. Thanks
Worst store ever? I ordered a handful of cards for pre-release and after not showing up for three weeks I e-mailed them. They said they had to cancel my order, and that was it. Refused to answer any other questions.
Blood moon is out on the board. A few questions about interactions with lands:
1) I tap Ancient Tomb. It does 0 dmg and provides 1 red mana?
2) I play another land with City of Traitors and Blood Moon out. City of traitors trigger does not force it to sac, and it stays in play and adds 1 red mana?
3) I play Hall of the Bandit Lord with Blood moon in play. It comes into play tapped, but every other turn will tap for 1 red mana and deal 0 dmg?
4) Bonus question about haste: If I cast Stoneforge Mystic and it has haste. I pass my turn, and attempt to use its equipment ability on my opponents turn. Can I do this, or does it have summoning sickness?
The idea of renting cards is great. I would rent decks in order to try them out on MTGO. I don't have a group of people I can play test against, and cockatrice is becoming a big waste of time for established decks. That being said, I just don't know if this would work in practice. Unfortunately too many shady people.
And please stop comparing spending $500 a deck and reselling it to the $10-$20 a renter would charge. If you can't see the difference, then you probably don't need to be renting cards anyways.
Anyone that has played M12 draft, knows Circle of Flame is not that great. In no ways is this card mainboard worthy, but what about sideboard. Right now I am looking at 4 slots worth trying out, which with the new emphasis on tokens :
I keep on flipping back and forth if circle of flame is sb playable. It is pretty amazing in combination with death's hold, but misses every flying tokens. What are thoughts on the card?
Question 1: Opponent has one creature in play and I have Glissa in play. If someone plays Day of Judgement, do I get an artifact back?
Question 2: I have no artifacts in the graveyard, and my Glissa in play is indestructible. I have one creature out Llanowar Elves, and my opponent has one creature, when someone plays Day of Judgement. In response I use Liquimetal Coating targeting my elves, can I return the LLanowar elves with Glissa's ability?
Question 3: Opponent has a creature and I have Glissa. If he cats Day of Judement, and in response I use Coating targeting Glissa, can I return Glissa to my hand?
I am looking to get around a case, and wanted to get them the night of the release. Where is the cheapest store I can find in the bay area/ north cal area.
Stores only got 2-3 of them for Game Day, and on top of that you needed to play (i think) 20 Mirran Pure cards in order to get one. They were hard to get and scarce.
I was trying to collect them since I knew how scarce they were, and saw a small handful of them end up selling for around $5- $7 a few months ago. It is worth noting that this is the type of card that collectors buy. and like to hold onto them. They are going to be very hard to acquire, since the buyers are mostly collectors, I can see the price going up,
I've heard there is a rule of thumb when it comes to how many blue spells you should run in order to also run Force of Will. Does anyone know that number, or have their own opinion?

Player A can have anything you feel like that is reasonable for mb or sb. Let me know where you believe the cut off is.

I would recommend never dealing with them

Thanks for the rules help.
I don't really like Who's on First, and Ronin Games and Hobbies isn't preselling boxes.
Black diamond games and CJ collectables have boxes at $85 if you order a case, but was wondering if there was anything else out there.
Thanks
