I don't think so, but why was Martin on top of Zimmerman? Who took the first swing? Given the evidence and lack of eyewitnesses we don't know what exactly happened so we need to look at all the other events.
If Zimmerman had chased Martin into the road and Martin got hit by a car we wouldn't reduce the entire scenario down to "Martin ran into the road and got hit by a car." Of course that would be a truthful statement, but it leaves out some very important details leading up to Martin running into the road.
tl;dr We have to account for the entirety of the incident which includes actions by both parties before the shooting.

Thanks, guys. To everyone I've ever interacted with in any way through the PRC. It breaks my heart to see it slowing down. I've seen the rest of this nook of MTGS slowly wither, but I always kinda figured the PRC was untouchable- because for me it was. It was a moment in history that never blinked and never faltered even when rounds got delayed. It was a thing that I spent way too many hours hosting (and yet still too few to have done a decent job), and a thing that got me through a lot of weeks. I'm a better writer for it. I'm a better person for it. I like to think I'll always remember what we did here.

The new poll format is really unfortunate, since we can no longer choose to make votes viewable (thanks obama/Curse). It may be time to alter the format so that the poll is conducted entirely through post declaration (it's time stamped, promotes a little extra discussion, and verifiable).

Granted, I'm only one song in as far as serious listening goes, but as far as the snippets I've heard go- thit **** bangs with an alarming amount of intensity. It's like trying to inject insulin, only to find out that someone switched it with adrenalin. The only other analogy I can come up with is this:
