I don't think banning the card helps that much. There are enough cards in magic that you can almost always find something similar.
I would have gone with something like Goblin Assault / Augur of Skulls
- I'm going to add "no more than 3 lands," so people don't submit blank decks
- The deck must beat a player with 7 basic forests in hand
That's a really bad combo. It's pritty easy to build a deck that will only beat a deck with seven lands. Something with a Blood Oath or two for example.

trying to figure out why Oakgnarl Warrior is common and this is mythic. I'm not sure the extra complexity from undying explains it all. I guess vigilance on a creature with lower toughness then it's power is weird, still feels like an uncommon to me.
Darksteel Colossus is a replacement effect, if it would go to the graveyard it goes somewhere else. Dread is a normal triggered ability so it sits in the graveyard a little bit before the ability resolves.
