If I recall correctly, PTQs are REL3, which means this would be a GL if the above applied.

Quote from Card Drawing - Looking at Extra Cards Policy Change »
Players are considered to have looked at a card when a card is moved any significant amount from a deck, but before it touches the other cards in their hand. This includes errors of dexterity or catching a play error before the card is placed into their hand. Once a card has been placed into their hand or if a player takes a game action after removing the card from the library, the penalty is Card Drawing - Drawing Extra Cards.
A player is not considered to have looked at extra cards when he or she places a card face down on the table (without looking at the card) in an effort to count out cards he or she will draw.
There is almost nothing that can be concluded from this conversation because we don't have and accurate first hand account on what actually happened. Another thing to consider is whether or not this same occurrence happened by the same player in earlier rounds. That would account for the upgraded penalty, but like I said we don't actually know if the player merely peeked at his top card or drew it into their hand.
I was wondering about the interaction between Boseiju, Who Shelters All and earti's meddling. If your opponent used boseiju to pay for a spell and you meddle it, can you counter it again when it comes back on the stack or not?
Yes you can.
Quote from Comp Rules »
217.1c An object that moves from one zone to another is treated as a new object. Effects connected with its previous location will no longer affect it. There are two exceptions to this rule: Effects that edit the characteristics of an artifact, creature, or enchantment spell on the stack will continue to apply to the permanent that spell creates, and abilities that trigger when an object moves from one zone to another (for example, “When Rancor is put into a graveyard from play”) can find the object in the zone it moved to when the ability triggered.
So when the delay counters are all removed and the spell is put on the stack it will no longer have the effect granted by the Boseiju.
which would then lead to major fighting and betrayal and DISSENSION! omg! lol is that a confirmed title of the third book? or was it just a rumor? would make sense though...
No idea about the book title but it is the confirmed name of the 3rd set in the block. So, most likely it will be the name of the book as well.
Assuming that you actually were able to equip it to a creature, then yes. The needle can't stop the triggered ability but it does stop all the activated abilities including the Equip ability.

You didn't need to use all promos, right? Regular foils would have worked for the non-enlarged symbol, non dated layers, no?
That's correct. I could have used only 1 promo foil to make the card, since the stamp and text box are on the same layer, but I only have the promo foil ones. Tis' okay. I still have more.

It's a little rough in places, but it's one of the better home-made ones I've seen. I've still yet to try that for myself but when I do I'll probably start off with a card that's a bit more expendable to hone my skills.
This is true. And I've only done a select few cards so this one was like my second or third atempt. One thing I did notice since then is that foil cards act very differently when cut then normal cards do. The cards get very discolored near the cut. Also, every card bends slightly when they are cut due to the multiple layers of the cardboard. The foil effect just magnifies this bend so although some parts may seem very rough (a few spots on this card look more rough then they actually are) from a distance, they aren't so bad..
Here' s a more recent card I've done. If you look close enough to the edges of the text box you can see the bend I'm talking about. And just as an FYI, all the straight cuts made on this card were made with the help of a ruler.
When I sit down for a game of Magic, I notice more and more that my opponent has some sort of trinket/charm/random junk that they use for good luck, conversation or whatever. More often than not it is some sort of MTG related item (card, token, miniature, etc.). So I got to thinking, what type of trinket can I bring to the table to strike fear into my opponent? Naturally, I want something to demonstrate the Ass Whuppin' I'm about to dish out. And with inspiration from last years Worlds feature article about Seishiro Ookubo’s 3-D magic craft I went out, did a little trading, and here you have it.
Okay, I'm back to report my testing and updated this list to my current build. I've been testing against a lot of rogue decks, BG Control, Mono Black Cloud, TNN, and UW/Mono Blue Control. Here is my current build
I've found though my testing that taking out the counters really helped build my win conditions through Time Stop and Myojin of Night's Reach. Having the Bringer out and grabbing a Time Stop each turn and casting it during their upkeep is just fun stuff. ;-)
I must give Mad Props to Zirilian for his suggestion of adding Mirrodin's Core. It has giving the deck way more reliability in hitting its Prismatic goal.
My best match up is against Mono Black Deathcloud. Just because Karma, post-sideboard, is just DEATH to any Mono Black deck. Especially those who don't run O-Stone.
My worst match up is a close call been TNN and Mono Blue Control. Those shackles are just a real pain. The constant counters don’t hurt as much as you'd think. TNN, on the other hand, has big threats with the Colossus and Titan. I've started testing a new sideboard, dropping the 4x Wraths and adding either 4x Sowing Salt or 4x Plow Under to give me the time I need to drop either a Red/Black Myojin or pulling out the Bringer combo.
Dosan has been "so-so" when facing the Blue control decks but I really don't know what else to add against them. My current SB against Blue control is: -4 Time Stop, -2 Bringer; +3 Extraction, +3 Dosan.
I've been playing around with this deck for a few weeks now. And I never really took it all to serious until a friend of mine got a little irritated and pulled out his Proteus Belcher deck and *still* lost... I was always 1 turn ahead of him.
Tell me what you think.

2 Bringer of the Black Dawn
3 Myojin of Cleansing Fire
3 Myojin of Infinite Rage

3 Karma
3 Wrath of God
3 Naturalize
3 Oblivion Stone
3 Tempest of Light
You basically accelerate your mana base like crazy and drop a 4-5 turn Myojin. The one-two punch is the White followed by the Red. Clears everything on the board except for your two massive beats. Sure it may sound easy but just throw it together and fishbowl it yourself. It's just amazing how fast this deck can puke out land. And the Oracles keep your hand from going empty.
The list above is my latest version. I use to have the *** and O-Stones main decked but I found that by the time I could actually use the O-Stone, I could cast a Myojin, so they almost always stayed in my hand. I use to run Soulscour MD but I just never would cast them. Always had the Myojin's first.
If anything I'm thinking of replacing the ***'s in the SB with Final Judgment. Helps against other Myojin's/Colossus.
