Thats fair, I was just referring to higher power to powered cubes. They go up in value some if you are just planning on cheating them out as needed. Casting Sower seems kind of bad usually.
Ya I was a bit harsh on it. But its barely hanging on in my cube as well. Ive had it in and out. Its still ok at 540. Id certainly not cut it at 630 or 720.
Cool. Definitely not either or, my cube definitely has room for both.
The first cast of nettlecyst is definitely better value as you don't need a creature. But plating is better imo if you have any plan to move it about as it only costs 1 on your turn. Your opponent has to respect the fact you can move it instant place for BB
I run Rakdos artifact aggro as an archetype, and they both shine in that deck.
I mean, I get that there is a difference and that most Living Weapon cards are bad, but the powerlevel between this and Fable seems so huge that the comparison is rather conceptual.
Really I think its most important for the decks that tend to want more one drops to have more come into play untapped lands. So color pairs that want turn one elves or white aggro creatures have more come into play untapped lands than other colors.
Im fine with running both in my cube. I like having Domain as a good option, and I like the tension of more of your lands coming in tapped if you want to play 4 or 5 color.
Whirler Rogue (Great with Urza)
Glen Elendra/Venser (These are lower down in my book)
Sower (Id consider this unplayable.)
I run Rakdos artifact aggro as an archetype, and they both shine in that deck.
Ya I agree, Fables power level is much higher.
Big difference between a 0/0 and a 2/2
