    3. No. 'Until end of turn' effects end during the turn they were created, regardless of whenever in that turn they began to apply.

Okay, Im set on the first two questions. But if the last answer is true, when did they change that ruling? I could have sworn people would abuse waylay by doing just that. They would do some trick where you play Waylay at end of turn, so that the end of turn effect doesn't end until their own turn, then be able to attack with 3 2/2. They called it white ball lighting and all that.

i thought Waylay itself was just errated, Or have they actually changed the ruling on this completley.

Okay, lets say I use Nezumi Shortfang, to make my opponent discard his last card. When he flips does he untap, or does he remain tapped from discarding?

Also, whats the casting cost of a flipped creature? Is it just its normal casting cost of the original, or is it zero or something?

With Ivy Dancer , can I do that "Waylay effect" thing. Where i like say "At the end of end step give a guy forestwalk" on an opponents turn. And then still have that guy all forestwalked up on my turn?

Any help would be the pum, thanks.

I am probably mistaken, but i was under the belief that tokens which died were removed from the game, bypassing the graveyard, hence the combo doesnt work, or am i wrong?

They do eventually get removed from the game, but they hit the graveyard when they die and trigger graveyard effects, then get removed.

I'm too poor to have something like Itunes, despite these rumors I hear about it being free.

This list is simply based on the songs that my friends seem the most fed up with as of recent, yet I cant bring myself to stop listenting to. Of course they are also in little to no particular order, what with not knowing things on such a scale. Number 1 though is probably played the most.

    10. Hole - Asking For It
    9. Courtney Love - Never Gonna Be The Same
    8. Courtney Love - Almost Golden
    7. Courtney Love - Sunset Strip (Im guessing im the only one in the world who thought her solo album was the best album to be released in the past 10 years)
    6. Cab Calloway - Old Man Of The Mountain
    5. Tiny Tim - They'll Always Be An Englad
    4. Mazzy Star - Dissapear
    3. Cab Calloway - St. James Infirmary Blues
    2. Mazzy Star - Blue Flower
    1. Mazzy Star - Halah

I can see them, the bright angels.......

When I was younger I had some intelligence, but it has since went downhill from there. The last IQ test I remember taking, said my IQ was in the 80's. I think that means im only about 10 points over being retarted.

Am I the only one who finds it hard to swallow that almost everyone here claims they have a 141 IQ or higher? I mean, not to suggest anyone here is dumb or anything. But really, am I the only one?

Well, I still don't understand peoples reluctance to the duel lands. I usually just fetch the ones I need with Farseek. Elder and Rampant growth also put the land into play tapped, and they can't fetch duels. i've never once had a problem with drawing a duel and having to worry about the damage making a major differance, or was I slowed down by having to play it tapped. I usually just end up playing it first turn, or waiting to play it when I wont need it that turn. I still usually always have enough "other" lands to run fine.

As for the Etheral Haze thing, why is everyone assuming that by putting in Haze, we HAVE to splash white for a bunch of other cards we dont need? In my deck, haze is the only white card, and it only costs W, so its fairly easy to pay what with Farseek getting Temple Garden, or Reach getting Plains.

Has anyone considered 1 Helldozer as a neat creature to reanimate for this deck? Considering how many people are running decks where they have like 4 pain lands and 4 duel lands, he could be pretty neat. And worse case just a decent attacker. I dig him.

What I like about reclaim is that its another card like recollect that sort of cuts down your opponents options when choosing what to give you with Gifts. Its cheap too, so a lot of times if they do give it to you, you can use it right after the gifts as well. I've been doing pretty swell with it.

I dont get why everyone is so against the Rav duals though. I understand they have the potential of making you lose life, but when fetched with Farseek, thats not going to happen. I dont really see any major disadvantage to running them. If anything they just help smooth out the mana base even more.

I'm pretty new to this deck, since I only got 4 gifts recently. My build so far is okay, but I know its still pretty shakey and needs some work. Well anywho heres what I have so far:

I'm not sure why everyone thinks the Etheral Haze thing is so inferior and uneeded. If anything, I was having waaay harder a time winning before I put it in. Where as soon as I put it in, it was making it much easier to survive long enough to either Extract them to death, or kill them with Kokusho or Meloku.

Well anywho, any help or suggestions would be totally hot.

I just got 4 neat Gifts, and I totally want to try my own version of this deck in post-rav Standard. I was just wondering how people were using Myojinn Of Night's Reach. Is he just in there against the control match-up more or less? Or is there some weird trick with him im missing?

Tendrils is rotating out of T2 at the same time Cloudstone Curio comes in, so that's no good. Spiraling Embers is fine, though. In fact, that's an interesting combo...

Ohhh, spiraling embers! Thats a totally hot idea, and easy to splash as well. Maybe in the web of war is all we have, i was hoping for something cheaper. Its too bad Greaves and Mass Hysteria rotate out with Rav. What a bummer.

Giminey, i totally forgot that Glimpse is in Kamigawa, I need 4 of those now.

P.S: Tendrils rotated out when Kamigawa came in.

Like a special meaningful pile of mash potatos, I feel this card means something. I can see a bunch of ways to pull off cumbersome and expensive combos in extended maybe, but I want to make it neat in standard.

So far all i can come up with is a rough draft of a deck that uses Curio to bounce stuff like Carven Carytaid and Wood Elves around. But i also want to bounce Fists Of Ironwood, and all i could think of to bounce with that is either more fists, Blanchwood Armour, or maybe Genju of the cedars cause its cheap.

I know green will obviously be one of the main colours, im just not sure if maybe some other colour would help as well, most likely black what with its rats and that neat new Keening Banshee wich I actually like better then ol Neky.

What I need is either some thing that makes creatures tap to add mana, without falling prey to that awful summoning sickness, so i can use the token made from Fists to bounce itself and so on. Or to make the Birds bounce themselves and pay for themselves and draw all crazy with Primordial Sage. Of course the same could be done with something that gives everything haste to accomplish the latter, but im only seeing In The Web Of War in post Rav format.

Well, heres my totally crappy rough draft of a deck that wants so badly to use Cloudstone Curio in a really mean way.

The deck right now is totally awful and couldnt win its way out of a soiled paper sack. But I have faith in the Curio, does anyone else?

I actually pulled that Sundering Vitea thing, but ended up not using it MD at all, and with little to no regrets. Even the creature enchantments were just easier to get rid off with good ole MD creature kill and what not.

I didnt really see many enchantments that caused enough worry for me to want to risk MDing a potentially dead card against a lot of decks.

    Thats just me though.

the earlier it starts, the sooner it ends and the more side events there are time for. suck it up and get up early. its not that hard.

It totally is when you dont fall asleep until 5am. Agreed, thats my own damn fault. But even then, I was totally hoping there would be more people who would agree that 8am is too early, I mean christ, even 10 or 11am would be better.

Yeah, I've heard of places that have those awesome midnight flights. I wish we had such things in our area, but alas we don not.

True though, on the starting in a later pod. Nonetheless, it would be a lot hotter if the "earliest" pod started at like 2pm, and the later pods went up until 7pm. Even 1pm is kind of a trial for me.

Okay, so am I the only one who feels that the pre-releases and other such tournies are held entirelly too early in the morning?

I have a hard time waking up before 2pm, let alone 8am. Even now for Ravnica, im having to force myself to stay up all night tonight, so I can wake up somewhat early on saturday. Of course I wouldn't have to do any of this if the friggin pre-releases were held in the afternoon or later.

So do like all the other magic players wake up earlier then I do, or is there anyone else here who dreams of a time when pre-releases are held at a reasonable time, like perhaps 4pm or so?
