None of you apparently ever haved played a silence/combo deck.
Master's call comes in instant speed.
In my deck against Naya/Elves/Vampires/Ramp/Trap before sideboarding you can get away almost any time with t2 dupelganger/ t3 master's call/ t4 shape anew, smack.
Hell if they burn your dupelganger, they wont have 2 burn spells most likely at instant to deal with your TWO tokens of masters call.
After sideboard, you just stall long enough, till you can fire off your combo with the backup of silence. Dont forget that your opponent can never fully tab out without fearing a master's call at the end of his turn.
Also the longer the opponent waits, the better for a control/combo deck.
Next to that I run turn aside, and spell pierce.
Now tell me any non counter deck can handle such an early win, with so many 1cmc cards to make the transition safely.
