I'm going to disagree with ISB a little bit and say that if you are trying to kill people with Jenara it might be better
to run Desertion over Bribery. It can't get whatever you want but it can protect Jenara in a pinch,
so I've always preferred it. YMMV.
I'd also recommend cutting one of your 6 or 7 drops for Vendilion Clique if you can afford it,
remember you can always use their ability on yourself to cycle away extra lands!
EDIT: OH NOOOOOOOOO Did you cut skullclamp? Never ever ever ever. Even if you have zero 1-toughness guys
I have a hard time imagining a game where you wouldn't want one of the most efficient draw spells ever printed.
(Especially when you can fetch it with Tezz)
Sea God's Revenge is insane. I was worried the format might be too fast for it to shine, but boy was I wrong.
I played UR with 2 of it, 2 Voyage's End, 2 Magma Jet, and a handful of midrangey creatures. Ony loss was against an insanely curved Boros deck.
I'm sticking with blue mostly because of an irrational hope of opening Thassa (not even because she's the nut, I just want one),
but Voyage's End and Ordeal of Thassa both seem super powerful.
Blue also seems the most able to stall into powerful Bestow or Monstrous effects...
Another small update, mostly just to try out a few different options.
Cutting Jitte hurt pretty bad but it honestly wasn't doing much except eating a disenchant.
Also cut the mostly-redundant Land Tax for a Seal of Cleansing.
Added Verdict so I have a second board wipe and Sphinx's Revelation to try and give myself a refueling option.
Voice of Resurgence not that impressive for this format to be honest. You would probably get better results from Grand Abolisher or something similar.
Restoration Angel I was unimpressed by the resto angel in general. She cant flicker Jenara and a 3/4 body isnt that amazing on its own in this format. I would be inclined to say you might get better results from Vanish into Memory which consumes Jenara's counters and turns them into draw instead.
Mox Diamond this felt like a really random mana stone to include here. It is ok... I suppose but its more designed to be used with a really fast deck so it felt a little out of place here. In general it doesn't see a lot of play in multiplayer EDH. There is nothing necessarily wrong with it but its an odd choice I guess.
Sword of War and Peace / Umezawa's Jitte I myself run a similar equipment setup but I just run Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of Feast and Famine, and Skullclamp as my equipment choices. I think you have a few more in here than you really need and I think these two of them are less important. You can run a little heavy, its just my opinion that they arent really needed.
Ponder its just not that big of a card to me. Its hard to abuse and while its not bad to draw, it just doesnt feel like it does much. I myself would rather run something like Explore or Brainstorm (which you are running) instead.
Land Tax its odd to see in a GX list is all. Generally speaking if you ramp lands its not as good to run.
Elspeth, Knight-Errant I don't like her because I get the feeling she is all or nothing too often in multiplayer EDH. If she isn't ulting then her abilities aren't that great for you.
Jace, the Mind Sculptor personally, I think he is too fragile for multiplayer EDH. He has an excellent value over time generation however he is a HUGE target that in my experience tends to be a 4 mana sorcery speed Brainstorm more than I care to admit. In my meta though people burn resources to remove blockers and kill planeswalkers as soon as possible though so I tend to focus on walkers that have a very large return right away.
Sorry if any of this sounds like nitpicking. I am just trying to share my own opinions on some of the selections. Good luck with your list
Hey, thanks for the help!
Explore seems like a good fit, but Ponder costing one less seems like kind of a big deal. I might give Explore a test run at some point though.
Land tax is honestly only in there because I just got the Judge foil and then disassembled all of my other decks. Feels like a shame not to use it, you know?
Sword of War and Peace has been extremely underwhelming, especially in my meta that is super Golgari-heavy. Probably this spot will go to a card from Theros (one of the God Weapons?).
I haven't given up on Voice yet. There is a ton of instant-speed interaction in our games, and the two most frequent plays that happen when he's on the board are
1. he eats removal that would've hit Jenara otherwise, or 2. someone kills Jenara and I get an extra token out of it.
Plus... he only costs two so it's not such a huge investment (like, say, a Con. Sphinx that dies before you get to draw off of it). I am keeping a watchful eye on its usefulness, though.
When I joined my current playgroup, I and one other player had moderate experience with EDH but were by no means experts at it.
The third (of the core group) player, however, has been playing EDH since about 2004 and easily destroyed us just about every game.
Instead of complaining and continuing to jam our weaker decks into the ground, we adjusted,
we experimented, and (this is the big one) ASKED FOR HELP.
If your playgroup is to stubborn to do any of these things... it might be time to find a better group.
The only thing that makes playing with the same people over and over last is change, whether it's gradual or not.
Maybe try to disguise it as a 'challenge week' or something-- everyone has to play peasant, everyone has to use a
color they're unaccustomed to, etc. That might help.
Good luck!

Also had to give up Venser, the Sojourner, which hurt as he's my second-favorite 'walker.

That card's price (especially for foil!) is getting out of hand quickly.
