I was wondering if you guys could help me with this? I want to make a modern deck that is U/B but I don't know the card pool because I quit at Kamigawa and started up recently at Scars.

Stop us from ramping! Killing the cobras is a key play, save the counter spells for jace and garruk.
against rug you counter setup should look like this IMO

save the gatekeepers for the frost titans and dont let a frost titan resolve. draw the game out as long as you can. Sadistic sacrament wouldnt be a bad card.
Thanks a lot. I don't play any Gatekeepers though. In my main deck, there's only 2 Grave Titans and 1 Wurmcoil Engine. I do SB 3x Hexmage and 2x Vampire Nighthawk.
Also, my counter setup against RUG has been the same as that build you posted except with Flashfreeze instead of Negate/Deprive. I've just been having problems with what to counter.
I myself am running into way too many problems with RUG with my U/B control deck. How do you guys handle RUG? I'm gonna need all the help I can get since there will be a big tournament this weekend!

So, I quit playing Magic after the Legions set. I weaved in and out between the Kamigawa sets. I called it quits after The Kamigawa block and then some time later, I started at Worldwake haha.
And uhh, I guess instead of being a lurker of the board, I decided to register so.... Hi everybody!:D
Netdecking or not, I just play the game to have fun. If the fun factor just so happens to overlap with a tourney deck, I'll take ideas from that tourney deck. But, I never 100% copy a deck. I add my own additions to it and attempt to improve it. Not because Copy/Paste decks are stupid, it's just because I don't find it fun.
As for somebody who 100% copies a deck?...That's also fine with me. I don't judge either way. I lost two times at FNM last week to the same RUG decks and I just took my loss. In my eyes, if the guy beats me, he has bragging rights either way hahah. He can rub it in too! He just needs to remember I'm gonna return the favor when I win
Overall, people shouldn't care if the deck is original or not. If it's a played out deck, then good! You have a head start and you know what the scheme is. If the guy copied it and has no chemistry with the cards,then that's even better for you! Just worry about yourself, everybody has their own reasons for playing.

I also forgot to mention that I'd like to keep the green in but it seems that the green is only useful for its buffs.
