I just wanted to know if you could post an updated list, or what you changed. Iv been going through the comments and realized you said you actrually changed alot about it but i dont have the time (or patience) to read 38 PAGES of coments to find everything.
If Mirrodin was originally a closed system with the same souls reincarnating over and over again, how did Memnarch except to find someone with a spark? Either one of the original souls had a spark, or it didn't, in which case reincarnation would be a waste of time. Putting the same soul in a different body isn't going to create a new spark, because the spark is part of the soul, not something that develops out of an organ like, ahem, the heart.
Hero of Iroas is just a worse version of Spellwild Ouphie. Why they didn't do a functional reprint of that ouphie is beyond me. He/She/It actually would be amazing in this set.
Ouphe only works when you target itself. Hero's first ability is just a flat cost reduction, no matter who it targets. They serve completely different purposes.
If a part of the dialog is purposefully being hidden (the regular subtitles say nothing), it's because it's not relevant to the plot. You don't have to understand everything in every frame always. If the movie shows no subtitles, what's being said is eventually understood either by the next scenes, other character's lines, or actions, and they're commonly things like
"What are you eating?"
"Soup"
And basically just irrelevant things that weren't intended for the audience to understand or care about. Move on and the rest of the movie should explain it by context.
Not true in the case of the pianist. The scenes towards the end where Szpilman talks to the German captain are rather lengthy and it's quite important to know what they say.
Pain Seer is no Bob, no. But it is a different Bob and one that I think a lot of people are under appreciating.
What I like about Pain Seer that I prefer over Bob is that the draw is optional. Anyone who's ever played with Bob will be lying to you if they tell you they've never lost a game dying to Bob's mandatory trigger.
With Pain Seer, if you're down to 5 life and just need to stall out, you can choose not to have him tapped.
Will Pain Seer be the next Bob? I don't think so, but I also don't think he should be outright dismissed.
I took a closer look at the full size image from the mothership and his facial feature and attire feel very Native American Indian to me. Indian Elf FTW, I like it.
Agreed. I wish they had cropped the image closer on the actual card. When you see the details in the larger image, this version of the art blows the original out of the water. This promo art is fantastic.
Another great opportunity to reprint the allied fetchlands wasted!
Are you for real? Get out of here. Just leave.
They're not going to reprint the fetchlands while the shocklands are still in standard and they're not going to reprint super highly sought after lands in two small sets, making them super easy to open. If you want to cry about it when they're not in the next block, after RTR has rotated, go ahead. But this was absolutely not the time to reprint the fetchlands, especially when they're clearly pushing monocolored decks.
OP is Japanese and speaks English as a second language. Here's a thought: how about you write us a translation of one of the new cards in Japanese without making any errors. Cool?
Yeah, I assume that Nightveil and other cards were put into RTR partially to work with this block.
That way people can play RTR cards with Theros even if they are running mono-blue or mono-black.
This assumes that WotC knows what they're doing. Almost like they plan these things. That's just crazy.
Obviously you're wrong because as everyone on this forum knows, the people who post here are always right and know more about Magic than WotC and WotC is always wrong and trying to kill Magic.
I wish they would stop insulting my intelligence by thinking pacifism is a real constructed card.
I don't understand this quote at all.
I was using Pacifism all year in various decks with moderate-very good success each time. Instead of being insulted, try using some of what you think is being insulted.

Obviously, he meant to say //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?type=+[avatar">||subtype=+[avatar]&sort=color+"]Avatar. Don't be a jerk.
