Mine is Yotsuba Koiwai from Yotsuba&!. Doesn't really say much about me, 'cept that I like her character and think that's she's freaking adorable. Reading her manga makes me happy. It's a nice pick-me-up.
Teitar makes his way over to the sergeant and speaks.
"Excuse me, Sergeant Gutworth. Commander Bailey has instructed my partner and I to see you. She said you would be able to arrange our transportation to the quarry."
And are we talking Ravnica or Agyrem? Isn't Ravnica impossible to 'walk to?
Ravnica was impossible to 'walk to. The Guildpact prevented 'walking in and out of the plane. When the Guildpact was destroyed, 'walking to Ravnica became possible again.
The new rules haven't been posted yet (or have they?), so I'm assuming we're using KoolKoal's.
There are going to be new rules? Why? What's wrong with KoolKoal's rules? I was under the impression that we were going to beta-test using those rules...
"Oh, not much. Sitting here, enjoying the scenery, conversing with a scarfed man," said Genesius absently, unaware that Gorre's question wasn't directed at him.
...Something's wrong here...Mu and Proph both claimed PR, and on separate occasions, both put Brin at L-1. Brin got to L-1 so quickly too, and from my perspective, he wasn't even being heavily scrutinized this Day.
If Brin gets lynched and flips town, I'll be looking at the claimed PRs. I have a weird feeling about all this...
Sincerest apologies for my absence. Thanksgiving, family in town, and all that jazz. Because of that, most (all?) of my posting has been Colo exclusive for the past few days.
Also, NO ONE VOTE BRIN BEFORE I READ WHAT'S HAPPENED AND SAY WHAT I NEED TO! IF YOU DO, I SWEAR TO GOTT, I WILL VIG YOU SO HARD, YOU'LL END UP STILL GETTING VIG'ED BY ME IN YOUR NEXT THREE GAMES >.< I DON'T EVEN CARE THAT I'M NOT VIG IN THIS GAME, I'LL FIND A WAY TO ******* DO IT!

Lots of stuff I have to read. Gimme a bit.
@ Wessel: In response to an earlier question of yours, I voted Proph because at the time I voted, the game was at a near-standstill. Everyone who had a strong opinion had already sounded off, and a good number of us thought Proph was the best lynch option of the day. That most likely would not have changed any time soon. I voted him to move the game forward, even though he was not scummy enough for me to be sure he was scum. At the very least, we now know his alignment and have restarted discussion.
@ everyone else: If you directed a question at me and I do not answer it in my next post, please bring it to my attention. I'll try not to miss anything while I read the new material.
Not to nitpick, but CAN planeswalkers bring people with them?
(Also, if we allow this, I'm staying from Innistrad.)
I'm pretty sure only 'walkers and godlike beings can survive travel through the Blind Eternities (without the use of a ship capable of interplanar travel).
"Understood, commander." Teitar gives the woman a small bow before leaving her office. Gesturing to Asirri to follow, he moves through the barracks until he reaches the lower floor. Once there, Teitar begins asking around for Sergeant Gutworth.
Teitar bit his lower lip after Asirri had finished speaking. Whenever he had worked with others in the past, he had always let his partners do all the talking. He wasn't sure that would be a good idea this time around.
He leaned back against the wall, crossing his arms, deep in thought. "Okay. So they're not that big, still probably ill-tempered, and still potentially capable of firing eldritch blasts. And the commander is still not sure of sending us. Hmm..."
"Asirri is right, commander. While I choose not to wield any weaponry, I am still a proficient bare-handed martial artist, and am not a novice when it comes to combat." said Teitar, his tone cool and even. "I understand if you choose to wait for more volunteers. However, should you decide to send only the two of us, the quarry will be cleared. You have my word."
"That," said Genesius, pointing at the shrew, "has to be the most adorable thing I have ever seen." If Fevvers saw her, she showed no interest, preoccupied with playing with the Trainer's Pidgey.
"So, you're a mage, huh? I see..." Genesius smiled as he watched the two birds chase each other in the air. "As for me, I've already told you what I am. I'm a sorcerer, and a fledgling one at that. Before you gave me your answer though, I had already guessed you were powerful, or at least more powerful than me. I'm sure you could smack me around up and down this island with both hands tied behind your back. You, and half of everyone else here," said Genesius with a laugh.
The young sorcerer laughed. "Fair enough. I wouldn't want someone running around in my mind myself." He sat down on the grass and watched the shrew on the bench work. Meanwhile, Fevvers had flown off to acquaint herself with a young Trainer's Pidgey. As long as she played nice, Genesius wasn't concerned.
"So what are you, if you don't mind me asking? Wizard? Warrior? 'Walker? Hero? Villain?" He turns to look at Gorre. "Scarf connoisseur?"
Genesius' brow furrowed as he studied Gorre. Something seemed...off...
"...Hmm...In regards to your memory, perhaps you should seek out a telepath? Apparently, some of their number are rather proficient at uncovering buried memories. Even if they're not there anymore, a telepath might be able to tell you if they've been unnaturally removed..."
The MTG:RPG generally does follow canon. In the overall MtG timeline, it takes place Post-Mending, with some Alternate stuff. For example Crovax, Ascendant Hero is the leader of the Benalia Paladins.
The only non-canonical thing I can think of is that Ravnica is a city on Dominaria instead of being a separate plane. Other than that, everything is pretty accurate. Jace and Tezzeret have been encountered in Ravnica, players have been to both Lorwyn and Shadowmoor (two even fought Oona...), the Kamigawa that can be visited is the post-Kami War one, etc. If I had to guess, I would say the timeline right now is approximately pre-Conflux, but I'm not sure.
As for keeping up with sets, I wouldn't worry about that. Since this is beta testing, I don't imagine you would need to worry about continuity stuff right now, or at least, those problems can be figured out as you come to them.
Still, although the MTG:RPG follows canon, most of the quests and material in there is new original content. While canonical events are there, the players are (for the most part) not directly involved in them, if at all.
