Well, the Cauldron and Parallel Lives are must includes. Also I don't see Primetime, he's gotta go in just for the ramp, not to mention tutoring in the Cradle, the Hollow, the Fengraf, and the Vastwood. Maze of Ith is another good land to bring into play.
You're playing 17 non-perms, so I'd either cut some of them, or cut Warp World (yeah, I know, it's a sacred cow). I play Genesis Wave myself, and less non-perms (11). I replaced the Broodmother with Dragonlair Spider. And yes, both Thromok the Insatiable and Craterhoof Behemoth are OP in this type of deck.
Well, that's enough for now... I'd suggest you search out some of the other threads regarding Ulasht and Thromok; there are a few very good threads pertaining to these generals. Enjoy.
Hello guys. Got back into Magic last year with my kids. Mainly playing EDH. I always liked Marton Stromgald, but could never get him to work well in the past. Then I find Pathfinder's EDH primer... very nice. But what I "really" wanted to do was use him as a wincon drop in a token-specific deck. Was thinking of a G/W token deck, but then I found Ulasht! The rest is history. This deck has done well (4-1) against a fairly cutthroat meta full of board wipes and removal. We usually play 2-4 team multiplayer. I have to speed it up a little though when playing 1v1. Thanks for all your advice, in the past and the future.
I really wish EDH had a 120 card limit! Cards with the > arrow are ones that are possible removals. The City of Solitude is only there cuz of the meta. Cards that I've played/considered and/or taken out are:
Warstorm Surge - (replaced with Vicious Shadows, they hate me now)
Godo, Bandit Warlord - (I struggled with this one)
Spearbreaker Behemoth - (a favorite, but just never worked right)
Nim Deathmantle - (interchangeable with the curio/cauldron, generally)
Sprout Swarm - (I really wanted this one to work, but eh...)
Bogardan Hellkite - (got too many expensive cards as it is...)
Triumph of the Hordes - (love this card, just not enuff slots)
Symboitic Wurm - (expensive?)
Coat of Arms - (Beastmaster/Marton are better/cheaper)
Overwhelming Stampede - (replaced with the Craterhoof... run both?!)
Nullmage Shepherd - (replaced with the Slime)
Bladde of the Bloodchief - (hmmm, was wondering about this one...)
Abundance - (replaced with Lurking Predators)
Cream of the Crop - (replaced with Abundance)
Druidic Satchel - (hmmm...)
Hornet Queen - (never tried, people recommend it)
Saproling Burst - (really liked, just never came off right)
Stonebrow, Krosan Hero - (recommended by others)
Fangren Firstborn - (possibly in a Bedlam build, with Lambholt)
Bedlam - (a go weenie, whole deck strategy rebuild option?)
My current build as you see, has the infinite-combo ability utilizing Cloudstone, Mana Echoes, and the Altars. With this in mind, I really want to include Spike Breeder to the deck. Whatchathink about all this?

I also have Beastmaster Ascension and Marton Stromgald for even more token beefiness. Don't forget the new Champion of Lambholt, which works well for token evasion (think Thromok). I've included Forgotten Ancient to beef up Ulasht, Mycoloth, and Lambholt. And I use Vigor and Asceticism to protect all my stuff. Also, Scythe of the Wretched has some very interesting/effective interactions in this deck which I'll let you think about.
Regarding other token creators, you might consider using Mycoloth, Wolfbriar Elemental, Snake Basket, or Saproling Burst (these all are beast with Doubling Season/Parallel Lives).
Also, you just have to get rid of Chandra, she's not right here at all. Replacing her with Garruk Wildspeaker is much better. And don't forget some haste enablers like Sarkhan Vol, Urabrask the Hidden, and In The Web of War. That outta speed you up a bit.

Also, I have a Ulasht, the Hate Seed EDH deck with Kamahl, Fist of Krosa as a wincon. You do realize the interaction between Kamahl and the Thornbite Staff? Sorta douchy, but hey, ya might need it sometime...
I run the Primordial Hydra as a diversion tactic, or secondary wincon beater. Works well with Forgotten Ancient, Spearbreaker Behemoth and Asceticism which are also in the deck. Doubling Season and Blade of the Bloodchief are there too. These last two cards will grow THAT hyrda real BIG, real FAST.
They work great with my tokens too.
