You are obviously missing the point and just like to tease, so I will elaborate. WOTC is nerfing a speicif portion of the game which at the end, makes "aggro" decks the most optimal/only option. First, they came for land destruction, than combo, than counter magic, 4 mana board sweepers and now removal.
I remain unconvinced this will turn aggro into something unbeatable. And I think your assertions to that effect are laughable fever dreams.
Can you please let me know where do I wish a reprint of Lili? Or for that matter, how does your comment make any sense at all?
No, I want that. Because it would be a giant middle finger to a certain type of player.
The restriction is obviously so that it won't hit morph creatures in limited. I don't understand why people are so up in arms about what is obviously a tool for limited. Everyone seemed excited for this set until the first card that wasn't the best thing ever. This is getting silly.
They're nerds. Nerds are nothing if not reactionary toward change of any kind. Especially when it does not exactly fit the narrative they have cobbled together on fabrications.
What about my second question? Do you believe that the government should have the authority to force a parent to pay child support even if that parent has no desire to have any association with their child?
I have a feeling this was the question you were really trying to ask, and decided to bury the lead because you knew it was a controversial subject.
The correct answer, of course, is "yes," even if only to provide for children in a general sense.
I feel personally insulted Wizards hasn't reprinted the cards I convinced myself they were going to reprint, using only the power of my imagination and tendency towards self-delusion. Not only will I never play Magic again, I am taking everyone involved in this SNAFU to court.
Oh god, nerf everything but the creatures please.... I cant imagine Journey to Nowhere was too powerful and needed a downgrade. We knew they were coming for 4 mana board sweepers but this?
It's very plausible that Journey was too good a card in the set.
Man, WOTC should just make a 250 reprint Liliana of the Dark Realms and Tibalt set. Just to spite you.
Hahaha. Get a load of this clown. A slap in the face. Like WOTC went out of their way to annoy you, specifically. You know you don't need to buy the product, right?
And man if you guys are thinking of DRS as a baseline card, well, I don't know what to tell you. That card is so painfully broken.
Only problem with stuff like that is they are strictly worse than Manalith.
So? It's pretty clear that WOTC does not conceptualize things in a strictly linear fashion. Whatever they think suits the needs of the draft format is what they will put in, regardless of whether or not it is better or worse than cards which came before in other sets.
I am sorry that I need to ask, but, what do you mean by "boob armor?" Is that a term for armor that covers a woman's front, but leaves her breasts partially or filly exposed?
No, "boob armor" does covers the woman's breasts, except it the armor itself has boobs. As in, the metal is forged in the shape of breasts.
It ridiculous because in real life it would direct any hit on that area towards the woman's sternum. Anafenza's armor is more realistic.
Even though in real life history, women had this "boob" armor you speak of.
In a ceremonial sense. On the rare occasions women fought in medieval combat, their armor was the typical breastplate. Because as it turned out, it was fine for them too. The only times you see armour with boob slots was for decorative purposes.
OFC bigotry is common in the Magic scene. There aren't numerous posts and articles written about it , almost verbatim, because it doesn't exist. And you can't just ignore it because it makes you feel bad.
The best local stores in my area are the ones which actively ostracize people for holding bad opinions, and remove them. Got a problem with nobody liking you? Be a likable person instead, not a stupid proto-nerd.
I'm a Legacy player, but I decided to play as much KTK prereleases as I can. I chose Jeskai as the tribe... before seeing how weak they look compared to Mardu. Raid looks like having potential in limited. Prowess? Not that much
Yeah, it's weird that WOTC is making Khans only a four-card set.
On first sight super disappointing Jeskai mechanic - Prowess :(. Cus wasn't that clan supposed to be the "control" one?
Oh well, perhaps we shouldn't care about the clans' mechanics too much, just look at the Return to Ravnica block Guild mechanics and how little many of them saw constructed play. Like the Azorius "control" mechanic Detain. These new mechanics will probably also be relevant mostly in limited.
Anyway, hoping for some clever usage of Prowess on a strong constructed cards.
The mechanics didn't see play because of the mechanics. They saw play because good cards are good, like boros elite and experiment one. If a good card with any of these mechanics is printed it'll see constructed play. Funny how that works, eh?
And man, wasn't it just last week people were complaining about power creep? Now they're complaining about things being not powerful enough? It's almost like nerds just like complaining.

I think a general child welfare system, wherein the state pays for the care of all children in its borders, is probably the best system.
Everyone.

Flaming/Trolling warning issued - Wildfire393
Do you realise how insane the ability would be at sorcery speed?
No? They've changed the schedule.
