Weirdly enough, although there are lots of monored creatures with Flying and Haste, the Skyknight is the only creature with exactly Red+White as its colors and exactly those keywords
Blue is balanced because it doesn’t get good creatures
I mean good beefy creatures
I mean good beefy creatures at an efficient mana cost
I mean good beefy creatures at an efficient mana cost that, uh, destroy lands on etb
I get that the point is to make it much better for sneaking guys through on your turn and much worse for stopping attackers, but I think I’d rather have an explicit “only on your turn” clause than this
The year is 2003
Wizards print a brand new set called "Mirrodin", with a novel focus on artifacts as a card type to flesh them out in ways they haven't been done before.
Then they include this card;
The MemnaspellBB
Sorcery (R)
Any number of target artifacts lose all abilities until end of turn, then destroy them. Choose an artifact you control. Put either two +1/+1 counters or two charge counters on it for each artifact destroyed this way.
basically what this feels like
How warping can a single card be? It would be one thing if it was just a hoser, but instead its an "I win on the spot" in any planeswalker vs planeswalker matchup, encouraging you to use walkers and beat your opponents walkers, thereby creating a degenerate arms race around one card.
They did make that card, it was called arcbound ravager
As always a utility card's viability depends on a good deck that can support it, but you guys realize that Absorb was heavily played as a 4-of in a standard environment when Thwart and Counterspell itself were legal, right?
More like “A-sword-ius”
That's no Sky Terror, it's a Sky Knight

Yeah, but don’t forget Bearfriends like Caller of the Clas
The judgement creatures were good because you only removed one counter. The conjurant just seems to have self-wither
