How does Thelon of Havenwood work as a general? Am I only allowed green cards in the deck? or is black an acceptable color too?

If I play lure on two seperate creatures and declare both of them as attackers. What happens? Is it based on which enchantment came into play last or first? what if I only play one but have something like a prized unicorn already in play?

hence the RIGHT NOW part. Im just saying delver is the best in this meta, one thats really healthy. Going back all the way to when innistrad started is excessive and skews the results, if you look at which has one more big events recently along with top 8's it's delver. The best is a very shaky term to use here since standard is atleast somewhat healthy. There are tons of reasons not to play delver, but by non-cawblade definitions its the most consistently placing and winning deck right right now (aka best, in healthy meta terms)

@LandboySteve: Delver is the best deck right now, this is a general fact. I know it has weaknesses and bad match-ups, but on a global scale its the best. Need proof? Check this --> http://mtgtop8.com/format?f=ST . Right now delver is the most consistently placing deck, not saying that everyone should play it: just saying by objectively its gotta take that place on the podium. I realize you only play fnm type events but not every meta is your meta, everyone's is different and, like your's, some of them are not delver friendly but most of them are. There are a ton of reasons not to play delver, just saying that in the huge melting pot that is standard right now, its the best.

So am I unable to activate The abilities in the declare blockers step? or would said activations have to happen after my blockers are declared (thus making me unable to use them as blockers)?

but doesnt he pass priority to me to declare blockers? do i pass priority back once the ability resolves? what about for the animation ability on Inkmoth Nexus?

my opponent attacks with a Consecrated Sphinx, I have a Consecrated Sphinx imprinted on my Mimic Vat, I attempt to create the token, does he have a chance to say Doom Blade the token before i declare it as a blocker? there are no triggered abilities to put on the stack.

Thanks! It tested very consistently for me as well, but sadly it got wrecked at fnm when 2/3 of my matches were against wolfrun ramp decks. This deck is seriously terrible against WRR.

traitorous blood on SB helps with that a lot
and green sun gets much more useful with a one of thrun or vorapede to fetch later on, both of which are great against control

It seems like you're not playing werewolves. You're playing G/R beatdown/overrun.

Werewolves are too fast for swords and don't need them.
Garruk is too slow, any planeswalker for the deck is too slow!
If you even THINK about cutting either Gang or Huntmaster and not including both, you're doing it wrong.
GSZ? Again, too slow. I always have enough threats on the board and in hand. I don't need a tutor. If I'm playing creature-light control and need access to more resources, I side in Hunter's insight and draw a minimum 3 for 3 that is potentially 6-8+.
Freaking BoP or any other form of mana ramp? Yeah, no.
If you're having problems with tokens/delver in your meta, then you're not playing werewolves because werewolves destroys them every time.
Also not running FMR/MM mainboard? Yeah. You're not playing werewolves, you're playing G/R beatdown that uses werewolves.

This is a tribal deck, a tribal deck that plays aggro early on (or until it has board position) and shifts into midrange later game while still beating face.

ok so how do you deal with sweepers without slowing down? i agree with you on birds, FMR/MM, gang and huntmaster but hunters insight seems too risky. also green sun makes choices like geist way more valuable, considering how resilient the deck gets when undying is added. also by adding slight elements of G/r aggro you become less susceptible to ratchet bomb
