Most of the decks I build are complete rubbish but there are the few diamonds in the rough that are pretty damn tough to beat.
You could try winning a big tournament with the deck. That would surely get people to post in your thread. Almost everyone claims to have an over 9000 win ratio versus Caw Blade with their decks, doesn't make it true.
I think most of the rare / Mythic level up cards in this set are incredibly powerful and flavorful. It's a shame that they all failed the Jace-bounce test and were therefore sidelined for all of the past season.
I say that in all seriousness, I was optimistic about the futures of Student of Warfare and Transcendent Master until it became clear that the mana investment you'd sink into these otherwise powerful creatures was totally negated by a 4 mana, repeatable Unsummon.
SoM always felt like a failed experiment to me. It's as if the designers tried to shy away from the powerhouse of Affinity by making mechanics like Proliferate that rely on several different pieces to function fully (Clasp + Magnet, Poison + Proliferate, etc), but ultimately the sum of the parts simply wasn't enough to create a huge impact on Standard.
Even with the boogeyman of Caw Blade gone, the top decks are still largely powered by cards from the previous block (Valakut + Splinter Twin). Perhaps after rotation some of these SoM mechanics will shine, but until then I see a bleak financial future for most of these cards.
And those events were essentially that the moderators not only play favorites, but do so openly and with reckless abandon. And people wonder why we're losing so many staff members.
If you've heard his side of the story, why make a thread asking what happened?
Most men are jerks, and are entirely obsessed with sex, money, and social status. I know I am. When I see a woman, if she's not hot and/or without something to advance my position in life, I'm likely to dismiss her offhand.
It's just the nature of life, if someone / thing can't offer you resources you need, you dismiss them. Some men are kind, sensitive, and caring, but girls don't go for those types early in life anyway.
Women respond to confidence and swagger. Sure, they may outwardly call a man an arrogant ass, but he's the guy they're thinking about later. Obviously I'm talking in broad generalizations, but hey, the topic was how broads view men.
I applaud Gavin's article, mainly because it was one of the few that wasn't about irrelevant details regarding his personal life and relationships with women.
Hopefully this new format pans out and isn't just a way for certain companies to create bubbles on certain staple cards.

Has anyone had better experiences with Wasteland over Dust Bowl or vice versa?
