Yes but all the decks have better side boards. By Force is ridiculous against this deck and definitely better than Manglehorn.

I'm staying away from this deck. I won over 50 packs with this deck so I'm good and spent less than 10 bucks on it. Too much hate from this set. I can play around a Lost Legacy but now there's the artifact version of it which means we need an alternative win con no matter what now. The new artifact removal is also too much for us to handle. Release the gremlims was manageable but not like this...

Pulse of Murasa isn't really a risk imo. I just don't like it. Life gain is against burn most of the time where you just want to get out of getting triple bolted or something. The extra creature card for 1 extra mana is kind of not what you want.

You are assuming a lot of things off the bat. Apparently things have been meant when they have not been said for you . I don't mean to offend. I never said Groundbreaker was bad, I said your sideboarding strategies were bad. I like Groundbreaker, I just don't have room for it in the deck. I already said I played more Groundbreaker than you have. I'm sure of it. Leatherback Baloth is just a better card all around. Groundbreaker can get you there but it's also much weaker in more circumstances. Groundbreaker on the other hand is a got em card. If you get them, good for you, if you don't, you know why. It's just the facts.

Your argument for Groundbreaker still doesn't add up. They both get beat by those types of removal except Leatherback is more resilient to Bolt and Kologhan's command etc. etc. Also if you are going to play Aspect, Leatherback is also better most of the time because you won't get 4 lands always. It's just the better card across all situations.

Narnam is good in theory and in testing for me. Sure I am still on the fence for it because of fetches but that's it. You can call me bad for being an advocate of the card but I can provide you evidence that it's worth it.

Apparently there is a division here on what Stompy needs. Some of you think it's a 3 drop that's better than a 4/5. Sure I understand, A better 3 drop is great but the thing I am arguing for is a need for a 3rd viable one drop since it opens up so many possibilities for the curve. So often you are stuck with E1 or Dyrad Militant into a two drop and no mana up. Sometimes no 1 drop turn 1 even. With a 3rd 1 drop you can get that 1 drop easier turn 1 and you can open yourself for more diverse plays turn 2 and onward. I prioritize this over a better Leatherback Baloth. That is it. I would love a better Leatherback Baloth but it's lower in priority right now.

I never said I was pro but if you are going to discuss strategy; then at least expect criticism. I don't think I have it all figured out, if you think I have something wrong; feel free to debate me but don't get mad when I disagree and say something's bad when it seems so to me. There is no maliciousness intended, it's just what I see. Yes I agree Stompy is a bad deck but you can always build the deck better if not play better.

I assure you, I have been playing with Groundbreaker more than you and its not a must for this deck. Also the revolt trigger isn't as easy as you think it is for fatal push. And if you are only siding out 1 aspect, sure what do I know.. At this point I feel like being bad is what we should do if we want to play this deck. Groundbreaker having haste does not make Fatal Push any worse btw.

I have never run less than less than 22 lands but you see people going with 20 lands and mainboarding thrun all the time so what do I know.

You realize Fatal Push isn't even a huge deal for Leatherback right? It needs revolt to kill it- which in Modern is easier but its not a for sure kill. And please read what I said. You aren't even disagreeing with me. You are literally supporting what I said except for Aspect being a must which it actually isn't. The first card you actually cut from the mainboard when you side is Aspect. Think about that.

I love me some aspect but if you have been with the new wave of stompy players who have cut Leatherback Baloth or for some reason are playing Groundbreaker over Leatherback, you really do not have a good reason to run Aspect over Blossoming Defense or Dismember. Aspect is not a must for this deck.

It actually doesn't really. Devotion is a small consideration for this deck. It's not about abandoning Green devotion but whether or not to play zoo.

So you want an overpowered 3 drop that isn't good enough to beat decks like tron and can't do anything against fast decks like affinity or infect. Got it. Stompy already has a good fair deck match up. This card makes it better but it's not what we need. Stompy has always been in this weird nowhere zone where it wasn't as fast as other aggro decks but hit a lot harder slightly later on with high consistency . From playing Stompy for long, you realize it needs to be a little faster sometimes and the curve needs to be reworked where you can have more options turns 2-4. Having a 3rd 1 drop gives opens up your curve substantially.

What's stopping me from going zoo? I don't like getting bolted when I fetch? and I don't like losing to blood moon? I don't know. There are plenty of reasons to stay stompy or go zoo. Zoo has always been a tier 2 deck in the last 3+ years. Sometimes tier 1.5. It is technically the better deck but it doesn't mean we shouldn't do something they are doing because they aren't doing well right now. Zoo has so many 1 drop options, stompy barely has any; to even catch up, we really need a good 1 drop first before anything. You might as well play the stompbee's collected company devotion build if you want to go full stompy and disregard the fact we need a one drop and way to deal with fatties.

Actually Narnam was definitely what this deck needed. We didn't have a viable 3rd one drop. It swings for 2 and trades with goyfs, thought knot seers, death's shadows. etc etc. I still want more but this was definitely a start. I don't like running the fetches for it but if you are going to tell me Narnam isn't good then you haven't tested it at all. What more power do you want? It is a 1 drop that can trigger E1 to 3....

That looks like a very bad list. You cut too many creatures so you aren't even the aggro deck anymore and then you have random control pieces but you aren't the control or midrange deck in the match up. You basically don't do anything well. You cut creatures for equipment and bad removal but since you play the weaker creatures, Basilisk Collar does even less than it should. Rancor is worse here. I could go on and on about how much I disagree with this list. It's just bad deck building. I wouldn't play Oran Rief when I'm playing 26+ creatures again your creature count makes it even worse. Just ahhh.... Pretty disappointed.

The only reason you ran Unravel/Deglamer was because of the tuck effect. Why would you replace it with something without it?

Honestly if you want a 4 drop and you are running a pretty standard list, Collect Company is still the best bet imo. I hoping the new green god will be good unlike Nylea.

Ahhh Root Maze is for Tron since Unravel isn't good enough. It has been okay. Top decking it isn't effective obviously but can matter if they play Wurmcoil or if it can slow them down. It isn't that great against Eldrazi Tron which I see more and more of. Also this fetches version really sucks with it so I actually feel like switching it out now. I side it in if I'm the play against Affinity and it has done work but side it out if I am on the draw since it will probably do very little.
