So... if it's about good paring or not... I guess I will say as characters they are. Opposing ideal, Same background in which both of them are from Innistrad, One for Protection of th human while the other is giving pain. I think it makes more sense than vs Tamiyo.
Yes, they can make a Sorin vs Nissa since they had some grudges. But I would say what if the wizards decided to give her a 2.0 during RTR? (Well... I guess Nissa for Golgari makes some sense since there are some elves there in Golgari)

About the hellvault...... Well, the angel AND the demons are released, so even if Griselbrand is killed by Liliana at last, I think there might be some twists between angelic force and demonic force.
Avacyn's duty is this world's balance, so I think she will just keep the crusade until the races are harmony with each other.
The trailer did not talks about Garruk and Sorin. So it give us space of imagination. Personally speaking, I think Sorin will just leave the plane again because he found out that the angel is already back on her duty. and Garruk will either become more black and become outragious planeswalker (like from flip card of green/black to a actual blackwalker that represent revenge/hatred?)
The Vampire race is ignored..... Other races are being raped..... a nice ending indeed

I like this card. I got a playset of World Slayer, and I am thinking of getting a playset of this. I am thinking of making a deck out of these two cards LOL.... just a casual deck though, because I know these two are not actually well suited because of the cost
Since Wizard has released its product in 3 east asian country. I'm thinking of why not making a block which take part of these 3.
I mean yeah, there are cards representing chinese characters and the block dedicated to show japanese mythology. But I think it will be really nice to actually do a block where 3 different country fighting each other and each are aligned to different colors.
Thinking artifact as colorless, 6 kinds of colors, 4 each
China:White, Red, Blue, Black
Japan: Colorless, Green, Blue, White
Korea:Colorless, Green, Red, Black
Personally, after looking at all the cards. I actually loved the flavour it want to share with us. But on the other hand, overall, I think the reprint is a little bit more than supposedly done and there are just some useless cards.
It does make me want to make some decks though. Like a Undying+Morbid deck or a spirit deck or something. But personally I don't think it will become another Worldwake where it gonna make some broken cards like SFM or JTMS. The cards in DA is just good, but not super duper good.
At first glance, I was really depressed because this deck can shut down my deck really easily. But thinking about it, in previous block there were quite some artifact hate cards, maybe I can took those cards and deal with this card.
Yes, this card is powerful. Yes, this card is able to shut down so many decks. But at least in the current T2 format. There are still cards that can deal with this card in every color. Like in white you have divine offering, in blue it has mental misstep, black has spell with sac. red has artifact hate and green.... well, dunno but there certainly must have some.

From Alara to Scars of Mirrodin, I'm already sick and tired of what they called bad ending now.
I mean, yes, it might still parts in the story that telling us war have not ended yet and make a clue that Wizards make to say to everyone that "Hey~ We gonna revisit this plane anytime soon". I'm really hoping for a actual good ending here in this block, since it is a gothic horror theme and I really hate those horror movie which start very horrific and end very horrific.
I mean, they can try to create a clue to the revisit even if they do a happy ending to the plane. It can be something like Sorin made a new Avacyn and the new one start to do her duty but because Liliana kills the Griselbrand and unlocked her "second ability", it causes the horror troupes still be able to survive in this world or something.
Or fine, they can make a very sad end that every human lost hope and become something strange and Sorin saw that the plane can't be handle by himself now so what he did is to just make another Avacyn and just tell her to protect the last survivors of the human or something.
Because of the demon yesterday and the human-token spell card today,and because I wanted to try Block Constructed. I'm considering making a Black/White Human/Demon Token deck just for fun. Who knows, when M13 and the set after come out I probably can upgrade this deck to T2 or something.
That artifact is not bad, I mean, in limited, this card can be a good addition for the off-color flashback cards and make the mana-base a little bit easier to control. In constructed it might be a tough work, but in certain degree I think the budget Burning Vengence deck can see the light.
The token making spell, I FREAKING LOVE THAT ART, the effect itself is really fun too. Since it triggers with the demon yesterday and the other cards like a budget common like the carnivalism creature in black, I think it is a good card after all.
Can you try to build an actual deck and try to compete with other decks and post the result so that you can actually know the pros and cons of the deck and the readers can actually give more concrete suggestion.
Aside that, I personally think add more planes can let the Gideon have a greater chance to came to the board.

Personally I love the idea of Legendary Creature turn into a Planeswalker. In flavor wise, a native who ignited his/her spark because of the death of his/her beloved one? Trigger can be when certains cards are destroyed?
A creature/enchantment DFC is another good one, probably can have a curse to make a better symphaty?
One of the stupid idea can be enchantment/sorcery(instant)? maybe an aura that can eventually counter?

I am guessing they are changing the internal structure of the Design and Development process for the Core Set or even for the next fall set
