I am playing in a creature heavy meta, and I am having a hard time getting the "pulse" of the meta. Game after game I can either play a combo deck and feel dirty, or I just get run over with any other deck (Ninjas, Elves, Goblins, etc).
So I am looking for a deck that punishes players for playing creatures, and screws up everything to do with turning creatures sideways.
It may have been a bad night, but 2 players were basically making sure I had no creatures out after they saw what I did with them, so I got nowhere fast, I might need to add something dumb like DD/Labman. I love the commander though, I'm just having trouble with my meta letting me use her. lol
How would you adjust if you had more creature based decks in your meta, I seem to be losing all my creatures and getting beat down in my meta. By turn 4 or 5 everyone has flying blockers. Ideas?
I have been thinking of Volrath's Stronghold just because the look on players faces when I put Draco back on the top of my deck after discarding it. Not particularly strong, but really funny to watch.
If Body Double copies a wizard, does it enter the battlefield as a wizard? reference to Inalla, Archmage Ritualist (Can Inalla's trigger copy the grave copy or the Body Double copy of the grave copy or... my head hurts)
I will tell you the story Duck, after winning 5 games in a row at my LGS with Inalla, my LGS banned infinite combo, and they all play mostly agro, so I figured I might try to build Wanderer again. Are there any cards that have been printed recently that you would consider if you were still playing Wanderer?
Hey sorry for necroing
Just wanted to know more about the [Changeling Berserker] combo(s).
So this is my understanding currently,
1. As changeling berserker enters the battlefield, its champion a creature ability goes on the stack.
2. At the same time, Inalla's eminence also triggers and goes on the stack.
3. You then choose to put "champion a creature" on the stack first then the eminence on top of it.
4. Eminence resolves and another changeling berserker comes into play.
5. A second "champion a creature" ability goes on the stack.
6. To resolve that, you target the original changeling berserker, removing it from play.
Now here's my question, what happens to the original "champion a creature" at this point?
Can I still remove a creature from play and bring it back immediately because the changeling berserker that was attached to this trigger has already left play?
The original "champion a creature" fizzles since that berserker is gone by the time it resolves. Stack trickery. Works the same way with Wanderwine Prophets.
Wow, your land base is beautiful, my Inalla mostly runs basics and left over lands I found =)
2) Archaeomancer + time warp + crystal shard or riptide laboratory makes infinite turns. This also works with Timestream Navigator if you have ascend (which you should since it costs 8-10 mana to go off).
The options with Inalla is just silly with a blink engine.
Funny thing you mentioned thinking about building Aminatou, This is the 2nd time I have built Inalla, the first time didn't go so well, this time I built her because I was fed up with my Aminatou deck. The combo's in Inalla are much more compact than Aminatou, Aminatou felt bulky and clunky to me.
Its a work in progress, all of that is planned after payday when I can order some cards, check back in a week. I am editing this list as I actually put the cards in.
Forgive me if this has been asked, I did google, but it gave me many answers that were not what I was looking for.
Thanks for any help!

The meta I play in is creature heavy so some of my choices are meta:
Cadaver Imp - chump blocks, Crypt Rats - board wipe (very necessary).
Chromatic Sphere and Lotus Petal are weak choices and are on the chopping block.
I could see swapping out Frantic Search for Secrets of the Golden City, except I have had some games where the combination High Tide and untap was relevant.
High Tide is part of the only backup combo if Peregrine Drake is lost, I could test Dizzy Spell, but so far High Tide seems to find my hand on a regular basis.
Brainstorm is really strong with fetch lands, not sure I could let that go.
I am working on getting an Ash Barrens, its actually not a $.10 card so its a little harder to find.
So far the deck has performed much better than I would have imagined, but there are a couple weak slots I am testing.

Thanks guys!
Good to see you are still lurking!

Lets make this less clunky...
Archaeomancer + Essence Flux + 1 Inalla Copy
Archaeomancer returns Essence Flux, copy returns Time Warp. total mana spent 4UUU (with Time Warp cast)
Spellseeker can grab Essence Flux and something else with the copy... say Entomb
Use Essence Flux on the Spellseeker to get Reanimate and something else..Flusterstorm?
Entomb Achaeomancer, Reanimate Archaeomancer and copy it to get Essence Flux and Entomb back
Entomb Time Warp, then Essence Flux Archaeomancer to start taking infinite turns.
